The food was absolutely amazing, I had the Oxtails with Cabbage and Jollof rice and Mac and Cheese. The oxtails were slow cooked to perfection and the Cabbage was well seasoned , the Jollof rice was a little spicy (I’m not too big on spice) the Mac and cheese was okay, not the best but not the worst either. I enjoyed our waitress who was super nice and professional, it seems like it turns into and late night happy hour, this place was definitely a vibe.

I was in the mood for Caribbean food and I’m so glad I went to Lydia On H. I got the oxtails. So good! So much food I couldn’t even finish. I loved the atmosphere. The music was 90s and early 2000s R&B which is my fave. The decor is beautiful Black art. Our server, Tameka was awesome. I will definitely be back.

Great spot, and we LOVE supporting a Black owned venue. Only complaint is the drinks are a wee bit too expensive ($20 for a French 75- TIMES ARE TOO HARD for that math to math.) Otherwise great neighborhood spot.

Very lively atmosphere, portions are generous. The jerk wings are the most tender and flavorful I have had. You could have dentures and still chew this chicken. The Goat was the same.
