Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Super cozy and buzzy spaces (bar area especially can get a bit loud) with a great wine and spirits list and an interesting and innovative take on French cuisine. Maybe more of the classics are coming, but for now few dishes on the menu were anything we recognized as typical French bistro fare, but that departure was also refreshing. We’ll be back (if we can get a table… that wasn’t an easy thing to do for a Saturday night at 7 PM). Good for them!

Great drinks and vibes all around. Awesome addition to the neighborhood.
We were truly disappointed as we really like the other restaurants of the same group (Lutece, Pascual and Lapis). The service was subpar - the person who took our order was rude and gave the Gen Z stare. The wait staff brought food that was meant for different tables twice. The entire service absolutely did not deserve the 20% default tip, which we would have never given had there been an option. The food was nothing extraordinary (we only liked the bread). The general ambiance of the main floor felt inauthentic (I only liked the bathroom) and it was extremely loud. We left as quickly as we could and are sure not to come back.

Wonderful French restaurant with excellent ambiance. We started with the olives and bread. Don’t pass up the bread and butter! I enjoyed a delicious dish of pasta with grated truffles and a glass of wine. The bar was a great place to dine, as tables are at a minimum. Fun spot to watch the bartender make drinks all night!

Maison is by far the best restaurant in DC. The space is intimate, elegant and beautiful. The staff are knowledgeable & friendly without being too obtrusive. The specialty drinks are well crafted and my gin martini had the most delicious & unique tasting blue cheese olive (was that truffle oil in there too?) their wine selection is quite good. The food is AMAZING. The menu seems to change but you can’t go wrong… at least that was our experience. The lamb tartar was outstanding as was the tuna crudo and the pasta. And even though the bread & butter plate is $8 do not skip it! Portions were more than generous but not overwhelming. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Wonderful experience from start to finish - kind and warm service from our casual but well-informed bartender. The seafood sang here, and don’t skip the warm bread and butter. They have cocktails to kickoff before diving into the wine list, and the profiteroles were perfectly light and airy with a crisp.
More Saint Germain than Adams Morgan

Sadly, I cannot even give a review of the food or atmosphere because upon arriving, my friend and I were subject to discrimination. My friend Tina and I have been long-term residents of Adams Morgan ( 45+ and 25 years). We really loved Havana Village. We decided to give it a try tonight
( Wednesday at 8pm). However, the very rude hostess said that there were no tables available and we said that’s fine, we will sit at the bar which was empty. She then said that there was a waiting list for the bar, although there was no customers or people anywhere in sight. Neither of us have ever experienced such discrimination in our neighborhood. We are both older and one of us is African-American. What they fail to understand is yes, you may be the new hot restaurant in town but the people who will sustain your business are your neighbors who will come in on less busy times. I will never support a business who discriminates. I hate to see any business fail, so I sure hope that they get their act together before it’s too late.

Newly established, elegant wine & cocktail lounge. Dinner service available; beautiful small bites and larger entrees as food options. Dessert/ports/and chartreuse(!!!) offerings on a separate menu.
Gunner was an exemplary host to our outing. Joaquin, behind the bar at the time, was a gem to lend me a writing utensil…which you are getting back soon. Or three. 🙃

A peaceful atmosphere with great vibes.
We had the escargot, chicken, tuna tartare, and crème fresh biscuits.
All were absolutely delicious.
We tried wines from around the world, both red and whites. All impeccable. We finished the evening with a tart dessert and espresso martinis.
We are planning to come back ASAP. Maison’s not to be missed!

It’s a cute concept an the wine was fine but even do restaurant pricing, paying $140 for a bottle that’s $37 at the store is a little much. Pasta was decent, service was great, honestly, largest downside was there is no valet and of course parking was insane. The bar scene looks great though so maybe just skip food and wine and grab great looking cocktails at the bar. By the way, what kind of French spot doesn’t have charcuterie?

Order the lamb tartare!!!! And anything with bread. Good 0 proof wine and drinks! Had drinks and small plates, but we'll be back. It's surprisingly loud, which might be the windows in front echo sound or it was just the people who happened to be there on a Sunday night.

Great atmosphere, drinks and tapas. I would skate this as pre- or post-dinner drinks and snacks. Not somewhere I would plan for dinner. They operate at a Michelin level IMO. I think they could get a recommendation or star.
