On one occasion, a picante bowl was served promptly, but other dishes such as a steak quesadilla and chips and guacamole took much longer to be prepared, causing a group to miss their scheduled departure. Additionally, there was an issue with hard pita bread that was quickly replaced. Despite these concerns, Maizal offers many vegetarian options that are just as appealing as the carne dishes.
