We love visiting Las Placitas, it always has a busy vibe, customer service is good. The employees are always happy and seem to enjoy being there. The food is delicious and drinks are fantastic. This place gets packed in the evenings so be prepared to wait for a seat if you come later. But it will definitely be worth the wait.
This family owned and operated restaurant not only has some of the best (and most authentic from the soul) food that exists in the DMV, but it also has delivered this level of quality for 3+ decades. I'm proud to say that I grew up as a child going to this restaurant and although I don't live in DC anymore, whenever I fly into town I make at least one stop at Las Placitas for a meal.
