Best ribeye steak in town. Grilled perfectly. And the price point is to kill for! I am here all the time and they know that's what I am having. I come often with my 9yo and they bring food at lightening speed. The wine selection is amazing and the server is very knowledgeable

Not Italian, few choices, and none of which were on the menu online. We got bruschetta which was literally just Untoasted bread with pine nuts dumped on top of some goat cheese. And they were tiny, like literally 2 slices of baguette. Our pasta was good enough but not $16 good. The waiter was rude and passive aggressive to us for not ordering drinks or more to eat but we were pretty turned off after The bruschetta came. Save your time, money and disappointment and go anywhere else on 11th street.

This place is a tucked away just outside Columbia Heights. I learned about it from a friend who suggested it because of the cute, relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The food is good, though not the best Italian in the city. The service was excellent and very attentive while not being overbearing.

I had the prosciutto salad and two bruschettas (asparagus and goat cheese). All of my food was delicious. I also had a glass of the pinot noir which was very nice. If I hadn't been with a friend who was familiar with Maple, I would have passed it by because it has a bar feel. I would not have known it was a restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited, but there were several things I was interested in trying. The biggest negative is that it was cold outside so it was cold inside. I had to keep my coat on the for the entire meal. If not for the temperature, I might have given five stars.

What we ordered was great. Steak and lamb ragu on tagliatelle. The amaro manhattan and the merlot was good as well.

Maple is a neighborhood gem! Great food, great wine & cocktail selection, DC prices. A bit challenging to find street parking if you're not a neighborhood resident (which I imagine is most of their traffic). Small, intimate, cozy, dim atmosphere perfect for dates or catching up with friends on a winter night.

A very comfortable local Italian restaurant, Maple has a very urban type feel interior despite this being located in a suburban neighborhood. My family came here for our last dinner meal in the city and it was overall pretty good. We got a seat near the window which was nice and our service was decent despite what I think was a very sparse service staff that night. We tried some of the more appealing items on the menu like the lamb tagliatelle and the risotto. We also got the calamari appetizer as well. Most of the food didn't disappoint although it did take slightly over 20 minutes for the food to arrive. All in all a good experience dining here although I wish we could have tried their brunch on the weekends.

My husband and I dined here on New Year's Eve and were very happy with the food and vibe. We were especially impressed with our entrees: the lamb ragu tagliatelle (their signature dish) and the mushroom risotto. We also had the brussel sprouts and scallops for appetizers - both solid. Unfortunately, dessert couldn't keep up with the rest of the menu. The chocolate cake was too dense and the bread pudding was cold and tasted more like a thick panna cotta (bread pudding should always be served warm imo!) My one recommendation for Maple would be to focus a little more on service and the customer experience. Two incidences with our service gave us pause: 1) Someone put a complimentary starter bite on our table and then walked away without explaining what it was; 2) Our waitress was not able to have an informed discussion about the dishes on the menu when we asked for her opinion because she hadn't tried many of them. I would expect this from a casual, cheaper restaurant, but when you're charging $50 for a 3-course prix fixe meal, you should make sure that your staff can speak competently to the dishes and that food isn't dropped at a table in a haphazard way. All in all, however, we were happy with our experience and would consider coming back to this cozy neighborhood restaurant.

We were traveling to DC and this restaurant was recommended to us through Airbnb. While the service was fine and the wine was great, the meals were not very good and definitely not as advertised in other reviews. The "suggested" dishes are the lamb pasta dish and the gnocchi. The lamb either tasted like beef or was cooked poorly and was made very dry. If you're a gnocchi lover you might like this dish, but I did not. It was very doughy, more than typical gnocchi. Also there was not a lot of variety with the spices. I would only recommend this place for drinks and appetizers not for a meal. It was also very expensive for a pasta dinner.
