Cinco Soles Reviews
Enjoyed this place but looks like it may have closed down. Margaritas and tacos were excellent. Don’t think the neighborhood took to it like El Chucho’s bar scene. Tough location near Monroe St as it’s on the edge of 11th where the Coupe is king.
We are at CS for the first time the other night. It met expectations. The place has a Latin feel that doesn't go overboard. The service was prompt and the food was great. A little more sauce on the rellano than I liked, but was still a great dish. The mixed tacos were also enjoyed particularly the fish taco. Another spot to put in the rotation.
Excellent..
Cinco Soles is a charming restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. It offers a variety of drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, making it a popular spot for those who enjoy Mexican food. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a pleasant smell and attractive seafood-themed artwork on the walls. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff making sure glasses are always full and guests feel welcomed. Standout dishes include the Birria Goat Tacos, corn salad, seafood enchilada, and Marisco Enchiladas, which received high praise from customers. The restaurant also features some outdoor seating and a casual, quiet atmosphere that is perfect for catching up with friends. Despite its great food and service, it may face challenges due to its location near Monroe St, which has affected its popularity. Overall, Cinco Soles remains highly recommended for its excellent flavors and welcoming staff, and it might soon need a bigger space to accommodate more guests.
