I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and also gotten takeout a couple of times. The food is almost always fantastic, and the service as well. It’s also just down the street from where I live. So I want them to do well and be successful. My complaint is that the menu never seems to reflect what you might get, or what it might actually cost. I get that as a small business you might occasionally make changes and it’s not cheap to update your printed menus…but the waitress could mention it when we order and surely you could update the online menus, right? This review is really just about tonight’s experience because it was not good. When I ask for no sour cream on my entree, please don’t heap it on like you didn’t see the note. Also, when we order something based on the menu description, that is what we are expecting to receive. Not something less or different without at least being told and given the opportunity to change my order. I will consider changing my star rating in the future if these issues are corrected because this place really does have an opportunity to be great. It’s just the little things holding them back.

I could have never believed that there’s such a gem in my neighborhood. The prices are great, you can have a quesadilla for $14 with chicken, mushrooms and broccoli (quite healthy too). Pupusas are also great, $4 each, that’s a steal! Very cheesy with pickled cabbage, very traditional. Portions are large! Like in real Mexico. Specialty tacos come with 2 huge tacos and rice. Great service and music!
Pupusas and yuca con chicharron were both amazing! Definitely coming back to try other dishes

Went here last month while my parents were visiting and we went to a bunch of pricey, fancy DC places and we all agreed this place had the best food out of them all! Extremely fast and kind service, delicious, home made Mexican food. The wings, the guacamole and chips, and the strawberry lemonade were favorites! Remembered this place when I️ saw it on Uber eats and came to review after ordering some take out for myself. Quality, large portions for incredible prices. Definitely don’t miss!

The woman who served us gave us excellent service, we ordered a meal by mistake and she exchanged it for us without a problem, in the end she told us her name was Mary (the owner of the restaurant) very well earned this review and the food not to mention! Super recommended

I come to this place often, I am a vegetarian and they have a Quesadilla option with mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini and it is DE-LI-CI-O-SA. The attention they have in this place is great, if I could give them a 10 I wouldn't hesitate.

Never received any drinks nor were we asked. Another patron had to ask for menus and then you never came back. Say you don't want us here without saying it! Disappointed came the restaurant because it was recommended. We finally just got up and left. They didn't even try to explain or apologize for ignoring us. If I could give you guys negative stars or thumbs down I would have from the Management, the waitress and owners Shame 🤬

Delicious food at insanely reasonable prices, and super sweet and welcoming staff. Found it for the first time recently when out and about and have already started ordering takeout. This is going to be a regular spot for me, my roommate, and our friends!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and boy has I disappointed! I ordered two items off their menu and was surprised at how overpriced they were. I expected the quality to be great considering the high price and oh was I wrong! The guacamole was spoiled, the crema (sour cream) had a weird taste and texture to it. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning.
