The place has great atmosphere. The dips are bland they are different but they all taste band. Bread was prepared earlier and was dense. Food was not bad but was not great. The best was the slow cooked lamb it was perfect.
Maydan was an incredible experience, our waitress was very knowledgeable and everything from the cocktail to the fresh bread to the entrees was phenomenal - definitely one of my favorite restaurants in dc thus far
I made a reservation for an important birthday, expecting to sit in the incredibly beautiful dining room as we did before. Instead we were ushered across the street to a secondary space and seated in a cramped corner near the open kitchen/bar at an insanely small table with the worst chairs that gave me a awful backache (headed to the chiropractor tomorrow) not AT ALL all what I expected for a $300 meal - which was very good.
