The food was good, but not as memorable as we had hoped. The lamb humus was delicious, but the meat was a bit tough and chewy. The restaurant is a bit smoky, which is an issue for people with allergies, and the music is very loud, which makes the restaurant very noisy. The ambiance was very nice and the service staff very professional and friendly. The prices were very reasonable.
Sat at the bar, wood fire warming our backs. Had great service from the bar, sampled many delicious items from the Tawle menu. Food outstanding, excellent cocktails, lovely evening. We will be back!
I had made a reservation for dinner for 6pm. Upon arrival; we were immediately told: “There is a table right after you, so you'll need to be done by 8 pm.” It was very abrupt. Then, after we had finished eating and 20 minutes before 8pm, AGAIN, we had a waiter come up and say: “Are you ready to order dessert? We're going to need the table at 8.” Completely unprompted.
