The concept makes for a nice dinner outing. The food was delicious, especially the sauce, and I was pleasantly surprised by the bread and salad as well. The ice cream sundae was a fun way to end the meal. However, the service fell far short of expectations. Although we had a reservation, when we arrived they didn't have a table ready and almost seated us outside. Luckily we were able to get a table inside, but it was located right by the bathroom with a lot of foot traffic....
Enjoyed the bar. Bartender makes a delicious Old Fashioned. Met friends and were immediately seated. Waiter brought water, bread, and butter. The food was delicious and the wines were divine. Love this restaurant. Staff and Manager were great.
It's been a while since I had dinner at Medium Rare. This was my first visit to this location. It is relatively small, but mighty. The wait staff was very attentive and the steak was cooked to perfection. I appreciate, too, that Medium Rare softens its butter for the bread - this is a detail that too many places forget. We left satisfied and well fed, even though we skipped dessert.
