Seems to be a good new location so far. My only comment is that the music in here is pretty loud. I'd rather not have to shout my order above it, and I can't imagine the employees like having to yell at each other all day.

Mezeh is a fantastic addition to Penn Ave. I’ve been searching for healthier takeout options around Capitol Hill—especially ones that are protein-forward—and this spot delivers. It’s also a major upgrade from the long-abandoned storefront that used to be here. I’m really grateful to have it in the neighborhood. Perfect for a quick, satisfying dinner. I hope it sticks around for a long time.

I am sharing a terrible experience ordering online from Mezeh.
Their online ordering system will send a completely different address to the delivery rider. As a result your order will be left at another location. See the pictures attached- delivery address on Mezeh website, vs delivery addresses sent to delivery agents.
Not only do you not get your food, you cannot cancel your order and loose your money.
This is not a one-off, this happened twice. The first time I assumed was a rare error, the second time confirmed their delivery system does not work.( hence the 2 different screenshots of delivery addresses) How do you go from 202 East Capitol to 1705 East Capitol, or 171 bell Capitol Hill??
There is no human you can reach at their customer service number (thanks AI). They charge you once the food is handed off to the delivery agent- so if you do not get your food, its not their problem.
