The food was amazing! Very delicious, huge portions, interesting take on texmex. Great job ??Service was friendly, but unprofessional. First they made us wait for a booked! table for a half an hour, they they forgot to bring sides… hope it was only our experience, and they usually do better ??♂️

Is it Mexican? Is it Dominican? Where is the Tex? This place is busy trying to be trendy, and misses on most marks. Loud enough to be trendy, but the TV playing in the dining room is tacky. Service was slow, waiter was a Newby without much guidance. The food is pretty in presentation but lacking in flavor and skimpy on ingredients. They should choose a direction and focus better on getting there.

Grew up in Texas and so was excited for date night. Alas, swindled by IG. Great host but disappointment started after ordering micheladas and getting 2 straight beers; service got progressively worse. Queso dip was good, but mains under seasoned, small for prices. (Tex) Mex food judged by beans and rice - tried first - beans oddly seasoned, and rice was crunchy (didn’t eat it). Tortillas were served in a napkin; never seen that outside of someone’s house! Had to flag to get check. Host is good, but there’s nothing he could do for us to come back.
I am so glad I finally tried Mi Casa! Their outdoor patio was adorable, I loved watching the sun set while enjoying delicious food. I had the crunchy supreme tacos, which were

This place is phenomenal. Zack and Francis took amazing care of us and we very professional and personable. Anything we needed, they took care of. I recommend the bottomless brunch that comes with unlimited drinks, and the drinks are amazing. They definitely don't skimp. Food is AMAZING. If you're in the DC area I highly make this a part of your itinerary.P.S. - You can always tell the quality of a restaurant by how well they take care of their restrooms. Their restrooms are immaculately clean and new aged.Again, thank you Zack and Francis for the amazing experience and an excellent beginning to our weekend in DC!
I would recommend Mi Casa. It's really nice in there, as soon as you step in it's a whole vibe. We went earlier in the evening, it wasn't too full at 6pm. As the time progressed, it got packed. The food was both NOT SUPER EXPENSIVE and actually really good Mexican food. The drinks were also strong but flavor wise good. I would definitely come here again for a date or their bottomless brunch!

Mi Casa continues to be our go-to neighborhood restaurant. The staff is friendy and knowledgeable, the food is consistently high quality (especially the soup specials!), and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's also a participating Inkind restaurant.
