Camila made my experience excellent!

Happy hour on a Friday night during a busy weekend in DC, the staff took the time to accommodate a group of 13 hungry, thirsty people. I can't speak highly enough of their can-do attitude to let us sit together. The drinks and food were delicious.

we ordered the plantains on a whim, best decision every, especially with the crema and cheese. highly recommend!!! also nachos were amazing.

Beautiful restaurant but the people working there are rude as hell no one serviced us when there. The hostess actually got our drinks and took our orders during happy hour. Both bar tenders were at the bar and didn’t come to us whatsoever.

This is a restaurant full of servicers and everyone is in the counter having side conversations, worse place. If you want to consistently be looked over and not being treated well then this is the place to be at I SWEAR!!!!!

I’ve had better food definitely mid.

I visited this restaurant with my daughter and ordered her a kids meal along with a Diet Coke. When a waitress finally came by, I asked for a refill of my daughter’s Diet Coke.

When she brought it back, I took a sip before handing it to my daughter. At the end of our meal, I was surprised to see an extra charge for another Diet Coke on the bill. When I asked about it, the waitress said she added the charge because I took a sip from the refill.

This felt unreasonable, especially since I clearly requested a refill for my child, and I was drinking water myself. The situation felt nitpicky and unprofessional.

Our server was Daisy. A previous reviewer said Daisy was sweet and attentive, and that’s exactly right. My 8-year-old said she was “my favorite waitress I’ve ever had.” The food was also very good, the spicy house margarita excellent. We’ll be back!

Dear LORD, how I wish I'd taken pics of our food choices today...our work team had an off-site meeting and luncheon at Mi Vida, and it's some of the BEST Mexican food I've ever had. If you like a slightly sweeter margarita with a slightly spicy dim, try the Cielo Rojo. Perhaps best of all, Chanté, our AWESOME and incredibly helpful server, helped take our visit to the next level! Do not miss a chance to eat at Mi Vida!!

We enjoyed dinner here on a Thursday evening, the food was flavorful, the cocktails were good and strong, and the service was delightful. We started with the queso fundido which is a must! We had the enchiladas de mole negro and enchiladas suizas, as well as the crispy Brussels sprouts and the rice and beans as sides for our entrees and everything was delicious!

We had a wonderful experience at MI VIDA! The customer service was excellent, and our waitress Daisy was so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious—the taquito appetizer was absolutely bomb, and the seafood pasta was really good.

Since there was an event going on across the street, it took around 30 minutes to get seated. We were originally quoted 30-45 minutes, so we appreciated the front desk getting us seated sooner than expected. I’d recommend making a reservation just to be safe!

I enjoyed my Birria, but it felt like it was missing a little something. Adding rice on the side really helped. The wine selection was great too! We’ll definitely be back—hopefully, Daisy will be our server again!

The worst tacos ever!
No flavor! With a pita bread that you can buy from Giant! Really got disappointment.

I have been to Mi Vida only once before at this location, several more times at the Wharf. It felt that the restaurant went downhill . Everybody was nice, but the service was very slow. A simple request to bring a spoon took several minutes. The food was ordinary at best, not what I expected from prior visits. For some reason, they bring the smallest amount of chips to the table that I have seen in any mexican restaurant. I will look elsewhere next time.

Delicious above average Mexican food with great flavors - love the Chicken Suiza and the citrus salad pairs nicely with heavier entrees. The Carnitas have yummy pork, but need a moist sauce to go with the tacos. Don't miss the mango margaritas!

It was really really loud as there was a concert across the street. Our server was really good and attentive. Food was so-so, not like the table side guacamole you used to get at Rosa Mexicana.
