This venue should not seat more guests than it can reasonably serve. The bar and kitchen seemed overwhelmed: food and drinks took over 45 minutes.

We always have great service. Most of the food is great but pretty expensive for small amounts. Although great tasting, the tiny wings $3 each and 3 tiny fried corn puffs $11. These things are supposed to be sharables but hardly sharable sizes. Don't recommend the chips and salsa. Salsa tastes like a can of tomato paste with a few onions on top. The entree's are more reasonable priced and sized.

It was quite disappointing. I ordered shrimp tacos and the sauce tasted like Thousand Islands from a bottle. Tortillas were cold and kind of shriveled. The portion of guacamole was very small. My husband had better luck with his carne asada. Passion fruit frozen margarita was good. Experience that I don't really want to repeat.

This was our second time at Mi Vida...both times we selected the restaurant for its proximity to the Capital One Arena. We have season tickets to the Caps and frequently dine nearby before the game. The service and staff were both solid and we were seated and served promptly and well. We ordered a couple of appetizers, both good, but a little stingy on the chips with our guacamole. We have no complaints about the food, the service, or the speed at which we were served, but it's almost impossible to hear the person next to you speak due to the overwhelming noise level of the restaurant and background thumping of whatever music was being played. Tone it down, improve the sound dampening and we might come back.

Dinner and service were great. But what stood out was half my party was late and I was worried about loosing our table. The manager was super friendly and assured me that we had a table. And since we were late and had to get to game, the servers were fast and prompt. Great evening!

Great pre-game Capitals dinner. Drinks and food were good. Service was a little slow. Dependable pre-game spot.

Food was really good. Service was not great. Cheerful waiter did not act to resolve any issues - e.g. lukewarm soup arriving at the same time as small plate. Spoons for soup arriving only when asked for. Came by several times to see “how is everything?” But either didn't listen or didn't care that we actually were unhappy with how things were served.

Great service! Cool vibe. Many gluten-free menu options. Super convenient location for Capital One Arena.

Food was great, had a party of seven. Everyone commented on how the food was not only delicious but served hot. We also liked the spicy margarita pitchers!

Our server Josh was sweet but the manager and the host said we couldn’t have any more drinks cause they thought we were drunk ? Idk it was so weird. We were at the bar and he told us we couldn’t get a drink and a shot at the same time? We were there yesterday and we will never go back.

Was not the biggest fan of this location. I arrived with a party of 3 with a reservation and we were sat promptly. Unfortunately, the server we had was inattentive and did not seem knowledgeable of the menu whenever we were ordering. Additionally, I saw a mouse run across the dining room area after our food arrived. The table next to us also noticed and tried to flag down a server. Whatever server they spoke to did not seem phased at all and did not do anything once alerted about the mouse. She promptly went back to the ramp area and did not tell a manager or even other coworker. Overall, the staff seemed unprofessional and like they didn’t want to be there. The location on 14th is much better.

Waited 45 minutes for a table for two. Was sat outside at a table with no umbrella and ignored when it started to rain 20 minutes after we ordered our food and hadn’t seen our waitress yet. Meanwhile we had seen an entire open row of 2 top tables inside. No thanks.
