We had so much fun at Mikko’s last night! I have enjoyed their beautifully Scandinavian cinnamon buns for years, but last night my daughter lured us in for the traditional CRAYFISH fest. It was a lovely, cool evening to sit outside with many other guests and enjoy good food and relaxed conversation. I will dream about the appetizer mushroom potato croquettes! What a delicious sauce. The crayfish tasted authentic- so much dill! We followed up with the lingonberry bread pudding, and left very happy customers!

Came for drinks and appetizers on a weekend at peak hour and we were sat outside without a wait (2 people). No frill presentation but great execution. Drinks were unique and strong while the food was immaculate and exactly what we were looking for. They split the bowl of fish soup into two smaller bowls for us without issue and the flavor of our appetizer was great. Nice lowkey spot off of DuPont that we will certainly come back to.

I don’t like mushrooms but my friend does so we got the potato and mushroom croquettes. They were delicious and I loved the sauce! Mikko made mushrooms tasty. The sour cream tart was perfectly dense and moist. Our drinks were tasty and strong.

Best Scandavian food this side of the Atlantic! Give them a try - the rhubarb crumble was moist and full of rhubarb flavor.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The food might look simple. But after first bite/sip, you know you are in good hands: fresh, quality ingredients; hearty, flavorful soup; and perfectly poached eggs for your Benedict. Yum! 😋

Delicious food and great service. The mushroom and potato croquettes were as good as that obviously sounds, but we also really liked the creamy broccoli soup and especially their dark rye bread, baked in house. They are serving a niche cuisine, and this is the best we've had of that cuisine. Also, service was super fast and flawless. They came and checked on us several times, brought our food quickly, and gave us the check right when we wanted it. The market is nice too.

We ate dinner there tonight. The food is nice, the atmosphere is OK. But the lady who was serving us was rude. She’d not respond to “thank you” at all!! At first me and my boyfriend thought maybe she didn’t know English ! But then we realized she does speak perfect English. It’s just like she does not care much and does not believe in communicating with the costumer!
