It's a stylish restaurant.Food and service were great.We recommend that you make a reservation in advance.I was satisfied with my meal focusing on the recommended menu that was kindly explained.The steak I ordered medium rare was cooked just right.It would be nice if the space between tables was a little wider.

The most amazing gluten free pasta dishes I have ever eaten!! Homemade gluten free pasta, focaccia and tiramisu! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his regular pasta dishes as well. We ate here both nights of our weekend visit to DC - highly highly recommend!

We were in a Rush to find something to eat at the end of a very long day, and found this cute little restaurant that was said to have good gluten-free options. We were lucky to get seated pretty quickly on a Monday evening, and the waiter took great care of us. I had a nice gluten-free lamb bolognese, and the others at our table really enjoyed their dishes as well. The waiter was even able to bring out gluten-free bread for me. Allergen safety seems to be quite excellent at this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and nut free options available.

Food was decent but why is that every waiter in DC including Modena has to look so bored. Was seated and no wine list, no service until we asked for it and lamb raging was greasy. The wine the guy knew nothing about them. It’s been an 0 for 0 in DC

Second time I came to this restaurant, not by choice, and it is just underwhelming. Bisteca lacked flavor and the atmosphere just doesn't feel comforting. I do not recommend the tiramisu - it is some riff of tiramisu without lady fingers soaked in espresso.

Overall great restaurant! We just weren't ready for the kind of food that we got. We expected italian but it didn't feel as such. Also to be fair it was way finer dining than we expected but overall good spot and enjoyed it. Our waiter was good just spread pretty thin it seemed.
