We are visiting from Wisconsin for a few days and visited your place our 1st night in Georgetown. What a great way to relax after a day of travel from NYC. Great food, atmosphere, drinks and staff. We will be back again.

Would’ve been nice to try the food, which sounded good. Unfortunately, the Indian server was very rude in asking for our IDs, which we had.

I come here once a month when I catch a movie. The food is delicious and the drinks are refreshing. Nice casual bar with terrific food and service. Last night they made me the chicken tenders even though they were not on their late night menu. I very much appreciated that.
Half the time I buy movie tickets in Georgetown just so I can eat here.

Food is yum, huge potion
Pasta, burgers all are on points dine here frequently and are never disappointed staff is friendly & attentive
Also good for people with sweet tooth- desserts are quite delish
The architecture is top notch- it is made up of wood, but old style but inviting
I love woods woody architecture so this appeals to me a lot.
You can also rent this place to organize mini parties.

Just got told I cant take me ordered in food out..I work in georgetown for the city. Nobody in my crew will come back to this restaurant ! Once was a favorite of mine I refuse to spend money there ever again! The bar tender rather loose money than serve me correctly. Badd choice

I have no pictures of the food. I visited Mr. Smith through an amazing co experience, we picked up our entrée and dined in. We had the caprese salad and veggie pasta. The salad, the spinach was fresh, the Veggie pasta was seasoned, and the garlic was perfectly baked.

Dude behind the bar was super pushy, annoying and aggressive. Location is nice and the interior is..wooden, so there’s that.

FYI, when using Google Maps, the directions will tell you that you have “arrived” when you are really on Whitehurst Freeway. Mr. Smith’s actual location is located on Water St. under Whitehurst Fwy, which is elevated. I had to put in the location of the movie theater down the street to actually get navigated to the bar.

They're online pricing versus the menu prices are way off. The menu prices are more expensive.

My daughter and I spent the day in DC, along the way we stopped into Mr. Smith’s in Georgetown for lunch. The host was excellent, we were seated right away. The food and drinks were spot on. The best was Rabi. The man knows how to manage the front of the house, the kitchen and keep everything well organized. He made our experience top notch! Cheers Rabi!
