Great atmosphere and service. Fantastic New England clam chowder and fried pickles! Philly cheese steak was good, too. Special thanks for letting us in a little early on a chilly Tuesday.

Horrible service and a very rude server.
We went here for our office Holiday Party and we couldn't have been more pleased. It fit our budget, the atmosphere was amazing, service was top quality, and the food was huge portions. And it isn't owned by some corporation which makes scheduling and working with them even better. I have been to many restaurants in the area and this one is now my favorite.

A classic. As a foreigner, it represents the bar that you see in television series and therefore you have in your imagination as the typical North American and that also has a long history.
Good bar and menu that I hope to try another time.
On the weekend they have a musician who plays the piano and sings, and also opens the microphone for whoever is interested.
One of the many aspects of Gerorgetown to go without rushing or worrying.

The wonderful atmosphere invites lively gatherings and might even tempt you to enjoy an extra beer or two.
The Surf and Turf was a generous portion, and while I can't say much about the Crab Cake since it was my first time trying one, it seemed well-prepared. The steak, however, was the highlight—tender and perfectly cooked to a medium doneness.

If you are nearby it’s a great option to oder the daily specials Sunday was the
Masala chicken, a homemade dish with the right portion size at a reasonable price. Always ask for the daily special.

A Georgetown Favorite!
Mr. Smith's of Georgetown is a must-visit! I tried their famous chicken tenders, and they were some of the best I've had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The portion size was generous too! The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. They also have live piano music in the evening, which creates a great ambiance. Definitely a go-to spot if you're in the area and craving delicious comfort food with a side of great vibes.

We were in town on vaca in October stayed in Georgetown. Not a ton of reasonably priced restaurants or bars in this area. A friend recommended Mr Smiths and just what we needed! The food was good and reasonably priced, the drinks were cheap and the staff was super friendly. We actually came multiple days during our stay and staff remembered us right away. If you need a break from chichi Georgetown this is totally it!

We came for drinks (didn't try the food) on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30 while visiting the area. Glad it was open, though it was quite empty and being cleaned. There’s plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs, but we chose to sit at the bar, where the staff were friendly. It seems popular with students but could use a bit more character – the decor is somewhat tired and very no-frills. Prices were affordable. The location under the flyover is convenient for locals, but it may not hold much appeal for visitors. Overall, it was nice enough and did the job for a quick drink!

My wife and I go to this bar every time we go to the cinema nearby. It’s hands down the best spot in Georgetown for reasonably priced food and drink. That, and the quality of the food there is just fantastic; tasty, fresh ingredients and all served by very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
