We got drunk, we ate, we sang very loudly, we sang off key, we laughed, we danced, we headbang, we took photos / videos, and had mad fun. ??? The takeaways are listed below.• The 1st thing I did when I got in that room was wiped everything down with an alcohol wipe and sprayed the soft surfaces down with Lysol. I even wiped the microphones. Then I sprayed my hands with liquid alcohol sanitizer. I was happy to see there were sterile microphone covers.• To be safe, my guests and I did rapid COVID Tests prior to our arrival and shared the results with each other since we knew we were going to be in an enclosed area for an extended period of time. And we'd don our masks when going to the restroom and when having to chase down the servers for our food and drinks.• The room we had for 6 people we felt was way too small. My husband is 6 ft. tall and with his arm span he was able to stand in the middle of the floor and almost touch each of the walls finger tip to finger tip. Someone with claustrophobia would have a meltdown even if it were just those 2 people in that room.• Muzette's added a $103.00 automatic gratuity to our check which was $723.00 bucks at the end of our fun time. We didn't care for this action when we were going to tip generously anyway because we had a great time, ate a good amount of food, and threw back a nice amount of drinks. We were going to tip them $50 each being a party of 6 which would equal $300.00 dollars but they generated that automatic tip which made us say to hell with extra tipping but Lex, 1 of our party members, accidentally gave them an additional $50.00 bucks anyway because she didn't notice the auto gratuity at the bottom of the check until the next day when we all had sobered up. So Muzette's slighted themselves out of some money being quick to jump the gun being greedy thinking people aren't going to tip.• We didn't like the fact that we spent more time running down the servers for our food and drink orders.• For such a small room, the room didn't have a floor. It had been danced away or something. ??? There were bits of carpet or what look like carpet on the floor that needs to be removed.• The benches need cleaning. You can tell that drinks and food had been spilled on them multiple times. No one has bothered to do a thorough cleaning on them.• The bathrooms were super duper clean. ?????? Watch your step though. If you get drunk you will bust your butt stepping up or down.• Be careful entering and exiting the establishment. Those stairs are tricky.• The fries, K-PoP Chicken, and K.F.C. Chicken are good.• For the amount of money we spent here, we can buy liquor from the store and have a karaoke ??? night at home.• Is worth a 1 time night out if you've never been. If you have some extra money to blow, you have nothing else to do, and you want a night out with friends.• So, now we know what to do to have a good night of karaoke at home and save money. I already have a Bluetooth speaker with a ??? microphone, we have food, liquor, and a big screen with surround sound at home and open floor space. I can prepare an array of food ahead of time, arrange it on my kitchen island, and people can eat, drink, sing, dance, be joyful, save money, and don't have to take an Uber, drive, or pay for parking. Save a grand. Literally. We have a plan. ???It's an okay ?? ?? ?? place. I'll give it 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Stars. Have a laugh at our expense. ???Parking: Metered Parking But Somewhat Difficult To Find In Adams Morgan. (AdMo)

This should of been really fun and ended up being disappointed. We didn't get into our room until 10 mins after our start time, no instructions on anything, and we had to use youtube to pick songs. They cut our time short too. Wouldn't recommend.

We had a wonderful time in one of the private karaoke rooms. The machine was easy to use with a wide array of popular songs.

Went to Muzette for karaoke. Therefore, I can only write a review about that area. Not so much for their food, because my friend and I didn't buy any.To start, their service were adequate. They workers did their job. However, in terms of equipment and the room (the smaller rooms), they were subpar. The mics (3 different mics we used) weren't really working. We could not hear it from the speaker. Moving on, lightings were below average. They are just 1-2 lights lighting up on the beat and sometimes random times. In terms of the tv and software, they were also subpar. They had the youtube up, but it was still below average. All these reasons result in my opinion that Muzette is a 3 star.TLDR: Subpar for karaoke. Will be looking for a better place

It was fun and exciting, staff was very nice. My friend and I just ended up using YouTube more than the system they had.

Muzette is one of my favorite go-to karaoke spots in D.C., but I had an unpleasant experience with a bill that's left a sour taste even a few months later. At the end of a night of birthday karaoke with a few friends, I received an unitemized bill for $250, which looked too expensive for what we had ordered but I figured someone had ordered a round of an expensive shot or something. The tip recommendation percentages were ay the bottom of the bill. The service was good overall and I like to tip fairly so I bit down on my spending regrets and put down a 20% tip, $50. it was also late and I had been drinking, like most other Muzette customers, so I asked my sober friend to take a look at the bill too.I received an itemized email receipt the next day that showed that Muzette had ALREADY applied a 20% tip that was included in the $250, so I had tipped on top of a tipped bill. I felt swindled since the receipt I had received was unitemized. It was really a shame because I love karaoke and Muzette is decent overall. But I don't care for deceptive business practices that take advantage of customers.

We come here for the karaoke! Food is not great and the service is very self-serve or nonexistent. It's a fun time with friends but we'd go somewhere better if there was a place that was closer!

We didn't eat I'll admit to that we went purely for Karaoke and drinks. The service is great front counter staff are wonderful people and were super accommodating. They gave us a room in a great timely manner and we had a blast! The drinks were really good, my Fiancé and her friend enjoyed their drinks and I loved the bottle I got. The ambiance here is lovely, it's a casual and fun environment for a casual and fun place. It feels almost like a Karaoke cave as you go down the stairs to this unsuspecting place. You gotta try this when you can!

Our group easily spent 3 hours here and had such a fun time at Muzette! I haven't been to Korean karaoke in a minute, but I was particularly impressed by a few things here:- No score at the end of each song for how well you followed the lyrics (yes, this is a thing at some Karaoke places and I am NOT a fan); - A wide selection of songs in their system as well as allowing you to search on youtube (there wasn't a single song we could not find); and- The music videos are the actual song's music video, instead of a compilation of random images (this is also a thing at most karaoke places I have been to). The drinks and food menu are great, too. Plenty of different flavored soju pitchers, Korean snacks and desserts.

Muzette is THE BEST karaoke spot in Washington, D.C., and it’s not even close. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate even the largest groups. We found ourselves spending what was probably 4+ hours there. A true melting pot in so many ways, as songs were sung by all in different languages. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING; I’d like to give a personal shout-out to Ciara and Brian (I apologize if I spelled your names wrong), as they were honestly so nice and helpful. The atmosphere in Muzette is unrivaled, especially when you compare several busy nightclubs/bars in the metropolitan area. Whether you’re with a hostel group, loved ones, or just ordering takeout, check it out!The karaoke setup itself is intuitive w/ touchscreen + YouTube accessibility in case you can’t find 1/70,000 songs. Even though every room seemed dialed to 11, conversations at the bar area felt comfortable in volume. If you’re looking for something fun in D.C. - this is it! Thanks again, will DEFINITELY come back!Edit: Updated review to correct pricing per ~7-8 individuals. IIRC it factors out to $80-$85+ per person/4.25 hours*. I can’t stress enough how incredible the staff is/was. Worth it.Original review date - 6/22/21* (drinks + avg. gratuity)Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t recall seeing any ramps near the entrance, However, I can’t say with 100% certainty.

Despite the food being mediocre and the cocktails being mediocre, I still give this place 5 stars. It's an awesome place to rent a private karaoke room for a groups. most of the songs on our list were available and we had a blast jamming out. Stick with beer and wine to drink, eat elsewhere, and just come for the singing!

This is one of the worst, if not the worst establishments I have ever been to in DC. We arrived with a group of 6 people and they told us they had parties coming in about an hour and 15 minutes. So we agreed to use the room until they had to let us out. We ordered rounds of drinks and had a good time. Then they told us our time was up. We went to get the check and they charged us for over 2 hours. We tried to dispute, but the staff that was there did not care. This place practically stole money from its already paying customers. They also had an empty bar with multiple empty rooms. Their business model made no sense.I am definitely never going again, and I highly recommend avoiding this sketchy bar at all costs.
