I ordered: ● Crispy Shrimp Spring Roll: it was crispy but a little under seasoned. ● Chiken corn soup: was not bad, but I had much much better. ● Kung Pao Chicken: was good, not the best. ● Combination Lo Mein: it was not bad. ● Beef with Broccoli: was dilecious, broccoli more than beef and too soucy. ● Mongolian Beef: was dilecious, onions more than beef. ● Strig beens: was dilecious.
All and all it was good food.
The quality was great and fresh.
Would I order again? I might.

Visiting DC for the weekend and had to look for some halal Chinese food. As a houstonian, I’m picky about my food choices. Oh my god I’m so happy to have tried New Dynasty. Mom and pop shop run by a husband and wife. They’ve been open for 30+ years. Such a sweet couple and so kind. The food came quickly and it was all so delicious. It was so good I had to DoorDash it the next day. Definitely will be back if I’m back in the city!

My experience is that I live in Georgia but my house bound brother lives in DC he needs to eat and this restaurant that is just around the corner from his apartment and I have never had any problems or issues ordering and having his food delivered to his door.
In my darkest times new dynasty was there for me. Thank you for the hot and sour soup and orange chicken that left my taste buds exploding.

It was hot fresh and tantalizing on my taste buds. If you live in DC what are you waiting on to drop by this small but quaint little gem. The service is quick but the food is perfection. I had the most amazing experience here! The food was so good and the owner was so kind and made my friends and I feel so welcome. I’d recommend getting the fried chicken dumplings and the Lo mein, both so delicious. The cherry on top is that the food is halal!
