the restaurant has a nice decoration, the service was great. The crab cakes were too salty for me though :-(

My wife and I have eaten dinner at New Heights on multiple occasions. Last night we once again had a lovely dinner, with very good food and excellent service. We highly recommend this friendly, relaxing and consistent restaurant.

Eclectic mixture of offerings.Ukrainian borscht is true to what I remember from childhood. Halibut with coconut sauce is brilliant. Steak medallions complement a very Ukranian potato and are of highest quality. The owner, Olena is amazing and sweet.

It's a nice atmosphere, enjoyed the food and drinks. It was busy with long wait times but it was also Valentines Day so that was understandable. Not quite the atmosphere of super romantic compared to other restaurants in DC, but the drinks and food were tasty.Highly recommend the octopus/chorizo appetizer

The new server Taneeya was amazing. The lamb was 86 so I went off her recommendation for another dish and was not disappointed. As a first time customer I was very impressed and if it wasn't for the serve I would have been bitter about not being able to eat the lamb rack that prompted my decision for this restaurant. The food itself was absolutely perfect, the chefs please keep it up. The expo who brought out the food was a very lovely man who was kind. If I had to choose anything at all to complain about is that the window we were sat next to had a slight draft. Thank you for the dinner.

I never leave a review but had to for New Heights. This is by far the best restaurant I've ever dined in here in DC. From the stellar service to the oh so fresh and delicious food, New Heights did not fail to impress. My advice, just eat here.

A bastion of fancy American fare, this spot stands out with a flair to spare. If next door's options seem too tame, here you'll find a more adventurous game. With surprises that gently tease the palate, it's a city vibe, minus the mallet. Just enough zest to feel the thrill, yet not so much to overwhelm the will. A culinary journey, subtly bold, perfect for those seeking flavors untold. This place, a bridge between comfort and dare, offers a taste of the big city air.

My husband and I wanted to go to a Michelin star restaurant for an early Valentine's Day, celebration, and New Heights was perfect! I would highly recommend making a reservation for this restaurant! In our reservation, we mentioned that it was a date night and they reserved us a window table to make it special for us. Everyone was so polite and our waitress recommended dishes for us to try. You could tell that the Chef really took time and was intentional with every single dish that was made- My husband and I enjoyed the Sopa de Mani (the chef's favorite childhood dish) the most! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, perfect for a romantic dinner. There is no parking for the restaurant. We parked across the street at the Omni hotel for a bit of a fee (my husband paid, but I think it was $20...?). I would recommend either doing that, or Ubering to the restaurant! Overall, this place was so special!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience here. The food was amazing, well seasoned and fresh. ALL of the staff that we saw were friendly, enthusiastic to help, and engaging. The ambiance was beautiful with wonderful art work and pictures that showed great culture. We will be back again. #SaveUkraine

We had a great time at new New Heights. Good food and friendly service. The only challenge is the steep flight of stairs to the dining room. For those with vision or mobility issues, they are daunting.

We went for restaurant week. We had a complimentary glass of champagne to start. We ordered the tuna tacos for the appetizer - the portion was substantial and was very tasty. We each had the steak as the main course which was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The service was excellent - I can't remember the waitresses name, but she was attentive, friendly and professional. It was a great girl's night out.

Fabulous Happy Hour! Great prices and inventive appetizers and drinks. Hidden gem in woodley park! Bar area is on first floor and is small with few tables. Service was attentive and friendly.
