Best sushi around. Reasonably priced. All of the other Thai and pan Asian dishes that we have had have been great

Some pretty good sushi and good customer service. Nooshi is upstairs and has a nice layout on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. The booths and decor are very nice. There is a decent amount of seating despite not having a first floor. Nooshi has a crazy amount of sushi options. There are so many rolls to choose from.

Great ambiance but really unfortunate experience. I have a gluten allergy and am used to most sushi places being very accommodating for this (no tempura, fresh crab meat, tamari sauce). This was the first time I had been given gluten at a restaurant because of bad service in 8 years. I asked for the king kong roll with no tempura, and mentioned I needed it to be gluten free. When the roll was brought out I was so excited, took a bite and realized there was a crunch. There was no shrimp tempura but the crab meat was battered. I unfortunately will have a painful stomach ache and headache tonight and will spend a few weeks with hives and scares as a reminder of this experience. I will not be back.

This is a cute little spot. The rooftop is nice. The calamari was good the sushi was just okay. The salmon in the salmon roll was too thick and the lobster in the Godzilla roll was small idk what I was expecting.

I stopped by this pass Sunday afternoon 3/20/22 with my daughter. We were seated upstairs, which I would consider the bar area. Didn’t really feel like a kid/family friendly atmosphere given the music they were playing. For starters we had the chicken Satay and the vegetable spring roll V, the spring rolls were delicious mad only 2 per order, the satay was very flavorful. For entrees we had the chicken teriyaki and the lemon pepper chicken. Both entrees were good. Good flavor and also good portions. Service from the wait staff was awesome. I would recommend.

Always a nice experience. Food is good, but people usually only sit upstairs on 3rd floor where there's outside and inside seating so it's kind of the nicest part of the restaurant to dine in. When that floor is full, they want to seat you downstairs on 2nd floor which isn't bad, but not my preferred area to sit. It's a little dark and secluded. My whole thought is, if I can't dine on third floor, I'm not dining in

Really good experience overall. Good staff, great menu. Food served without rushing the patrons, wait staff attentive, courteous and a bit cheeky. A definite return to restaurant.

This place is really cute! We ordered pad Thai and sushi at the Cap Hill location. The verdict was that the sushi was good and so was the pad Thai - nothing that will blow you away, but good food for the price! In my opinion, the best part of this place is the ambience - it's a cute, small venue on a top floor with a bar and a low-key vibe. Would be a great place for a date!

Nooshi is a great spot for a more casual date or a lively night with a group of friends. I went on a Friday evening with a few people, and the rooftop is quite the vibe. They have a bar with neon lighting, outdoor seating, TVs, and great music. When you mix in a few saki bombs, which are very reasonably priced, you can hang out for a couple of hours.

Can’t even remember the noodle dish I had but when I say “delicious”, it’s nothing short of.

We tried Nooshi on 8th for the first time for a date night and I wish we would've gone elsewhere. The only good thing about this place is the esthetic, I love the vibes. There wasn't a wait to be seated, the restaurant wasn't full at all. We sat and placed our order pretty quickly. Things quickly went downhill after placing our order. We were waiting and a good amount of time passed. No food came out and our waitress kept walking back & forth to bring cocktails to the other tables. I figured I'd order a cocktail because they looked good. The waitress paid no attention to me trying to get her attention & when we were finally able to get her we asked about the food & the wait, she said it was coming shortly. She also informed me the drink I wanted wasn't available & abruptly left. She didn't give me an opportunity to order another drink, she didn't suggest another drink- nothing, she literally said we don't have it and walked away. We were starting to get frustrated at the wait after another 10 minutes but decided to wait a little longer because we understand there's a pandemic and restaurants are short staffed. Nooshi appeared full staffed, there were literally 2 staff not doing anything and walking around aimlessly. I wish the other staff would help because one gentleman working, I believe he was Spanish not sure it was difficult to tell, but this gentleman was cleaning tables, filling waters, brining food & attending to tables. He was a one man show & I wish the rest of the staff were as kind and attentive as he was. After over an hour of waiting, we got our food and it was such a mess. The sushi was thrown together and was literally falling apart when I picked it up. The toppings on my King Kong roll weren't placed consistently so one part of the roll had all the toppings and one just had sauce. It was frustrating because in the time we waited they brought out a ton of to go orders and only food for one table- I am not exaggerating. I did not see them bring out more than one table's food before we got ours. The sushi was ok, could get better elsewhere. I asked for eel sauce and it was watered down, and tasted funny and definitely not like regular eel sauce. I also asked for cream cheese in my roll, after receiving my rolls there wasn't any and the waitress said it wasn't available. I'm pretty sure she was lying and they forgot because when I asked she said they did have it. Although I didn't get the cream cheese she still charged extra on the bill for it. I'm not sure if this was an off night but I won't be back to find out. If you're ordering out and don't plan on sitting in the restaurant, this might be better fit because they seem to only care about carry out orders.

Ordered two sushi rolls to go, and was quite disappointed with the result. The avocado on both rolls had significant discoloration from being too old, and the yellowfin tuna additionally had streaks of gray running through it--far from even a decent cut. Disappointing to say the least.

I prefer the main (second) floor - it's best for a leisurely dinner and conversation. Great booths for talking. The third floor is fun with the outside patio, but can get loud. Now the main part: the food - excellent. I love the sushi - from basics to more adventurous - I have to force myself to stray from it and explore the rest of the menu. The soups are excellent, I love the ginger salad. I am usually not a big rice eater, but the fried rice with crab is delicious. The service is always great. It's an attractive restaurant, casual and comfortable - a neighborhood go to for me - and now there is a Jeni's ice cream next door if you have room for dessert.
