I dont live anywhere near this place so I dont use the carryout option, but got schexuan beef for there and kung pao chicken to go, also general tzao. All 3 very very good. The general tzao included a lighter and zippier sauce than you expect which was quite tasty. Get it! This family have taken this small establishment and created a lovely place to eat and enjoy. In a nutshell, this IS the American Dream.

So first off it seems like the majority of negative reviews have to do with delivery service. On that I can't comment as I have only ever gone in person for take out. On their food however, I give it five stars. First, you will be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck. $13.50 for 24 pieces! 3 rolls of 8, and their spicy scallop roll is out of this world! They have been there for 30 years. They are nice and friendly. I love supporting this local business. The food takes time because they make it to order instead of scooping it from a vat like many Chinese restaurants do. You can have things quickly, are you going to have things done right; and it honestly doesn't take that long! Slow down and smell the roses guys! I was there just before they got their renovations, and the lady was clearly having a bad day, but we got to talking and she was so nice, she even gave me an extra large helping of ginger no charge. You tend to get more positive things out of this world when you put more positive things into it. I strongly encourage anyone looking for some good food to give this place a try. I am hoping to go back today and see what they have done with the renovations.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM NORTH SEA as of August 16, 2017: you may order it, and pay for it. But it won't be delivered. The restaurant is closed for now. A company called Beyond Menus -- out of Chicago -- is taking orders, and charging you for them, but North Sea is not open to prepare the food you order. The older gentleman who opened and ran North Sea for nearly three decade ran a good restaurant and treated customers well. Since his family took over 6-8 years ago cost have gone up, while quality and service have plummeted.

The driver called me as he was on my street, and I had to go outside and meet him down on the sidewalk (I live in a house, not an apt!) Service was fast, food was good. Owner was nice and packed up our food pretty thoughtfully. He put our drinks so that it would keep my sushi cool.

Do NOT order the Pad Thai from here. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Also, the delivery was a bit unorthodox. The driver called me as he was on my street, and I had to go outside and meet him down on the sidewalk (I live in a house, not an apt!) He was not very nice, and reading other posts really confirms that. Food: I ordered hot and sour soup, and Pad Thai. The pad thai was hot pink, and tasted awful. I had 2 bites, and tried to give the rest to my roommates but they also hated it. Now I have an entire bowl of pad thai that will end up in the garbage, and I am out $15 for nothing. I contacted grub hub, and they said the restaurant refused a refund (wonder why!!) the best they can do is give me a grub hub discount for a future order, which won't be for a while since I rarely order takeout. Will not be ordering from this place again.

Walked in with my mother for lunch, went to the counter to check out the menu a Roach runs a cross and starts cussing me out because I interrupted his sleep we left quietly so it could finish its nap!
