Truly some of the best food I've had in a really cool environment! I would highly recommend!

Excellent food and atmosphere. We started with a drink at the bar—try the “Old Money”—it's a tasty twist on an Old Fashioned with Anejo tequila. Enjoyed the Steak Frites. Waited a little long for our wine (it was a busy night) but they made it right. All good.

My husband and I dined at The Olde Ebbitt Grill last night to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff made us feel special. We especially liked when the hostess remembered our anniversary by expressing her best wishes. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, a consummate professional. We also liked that we didn't feel "rushed." And our meals were delicious. The waiter timed the serving of each course perfectly--from our appetizers to our desserts. Par excellence! We also love the decor and ambiance. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to our friends. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, this is the place!

Seated in the atrium. Not the best atmosphere. Service was just OK, bordering on rude. Our server was not in a very good mood and it showed.

This place runs like a well-oiled machine. The employees work in sync with each other and the service is always great. The menu offers a variety of options and over the years we have tried many and never disappointed. I especially like the salmon, beef tenderloin, crab cakes, and sandwiches. Our friends enjoyed the vegetarian options.

It had been a few years since I had last been to Old Ebbit Grill but very little has changed. It has the same ambiance that it has always had...very good menu, food was perfect and the service equally as good. I do have to say the noise level steadily increased during our early dinner. However the food and service were absolutely perfect:

Went for the history, had one of the best dinners of my life. The pork chop was better than the filet!

Went for lunch. Place was highly recommended and lived up to its great reputation. Strongly suggest reservations. Place is very busy

Very busy but amazing service! Rockefellers oysters and crab artichoke dip are always a favourite. They were also kind enough to let me charge my phone before I ran out of battery! Love Old Ebbit and try to stop at least once every trip I make to DC!

Very cool place. The gas chandeliers were neat to see in person. Definitely feels like the oldest bar in DC but we'll maintained. Everything looked good but was too pricey for me except to grab a drink and just enjoy the vibes.

The WORST chicken sandwich I've ever had - without hyperbole. I've had better mcchicken sandwiches for a dollar (I'm old but not that old) than whatever tiktok recipe this chef tried to duplicate with his fancy-dancy overpriced chicken sandwich. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a chicken sandwich but... 👌👏👏 Bravo, chef. The lobster role was edible

This was the first saloon in DC established in 1856. This makes it a must see. The atmosphere and decor have been carefully preserved. The food is flavorful and the service impeccable. All of these make it a great experience and a bucket list when in DC. Don’t miss it!
