Service is great and servers are really nice, although it took a while for food to be served when there was only one other table waiting on food.
The food wasn't really for me or my party. The draft beer was decent. The bread was not great at all so we didn't have more than one bite each. The bread was served at our arrival so thought it was complimentary but we were charged $2. Though minimal, not sure if it's right practice.
The place is cute with European vibes.

We went to Old Europe when we were seeking a German restaurant specifically because they seemed friendly to kids, and in fact they were.
All the dishes were delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Clearly very loyal to their staff. No problem accommodating a group of 10 on a Friday night. A member of our party who lived in Germany said the dishes were authentic. Another member of our party had an allergy to one of the unlisted parts of a dish, and they were able to replace the dish without the allergen free of charge. No automatically applied service charge

My fist time here shall not be my last! I have heard of this place from many over the years and have not made it by until today. So many great places to choose from in this area. Why did I wait so long? Do not make the same mistake I did. Come here as soon as you are able and enjoy everything about this establishment. Nothing sucked! I mean nothing at all. Sorry to be so crude, but you need to taste and enjoy this!

Stumbled upon this AMAZING restaurant! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cucumber salad, fresh and tasty, Bavarian pretzel-authentic!, trout very well received, brie was wonderful. Split cake for dessert, light and flavorful. All the food was fresh and yummy!

I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel and, obviously, the same dish in Austria is cooked in a better way, tastes better, and costs (much) less (even in capital Vienna). However, the level of service offered by staff at the Old Europe is definitively way better than that one offered by any staff in Austrian restaurants, hence my overall score. And, in all honesty, the service offered by Old Europe staff was also better than many other restaurants in the US and Washington DC.

Alex is a very good cook if you wanna travel to Europe you don't need a ticket to fly....go and visit this place!

Warm beer. $15 for 16oz for a draft makes it as expensive as a stadium beer. No apologies when we commented that it was warm.

Super delicious, authentic German food and beer. I had the appetizer selection of sausages for my entree with a side of warm potato salad. The portion sizes are large and makes a good value. The beer mix with lower alcohol content was refreshing and delicious, as was the bottled hofbrauhaus Winter Spezial. The service was cordial. The atmosphere was pleasant but a little loud, so not a place for an intimate conversation. We would definitely frequent this place if we lived nearby!
