Bonjon Rumi Reviews
We had a team dinner with 10 people. We had a back area all to ourselves. The food was amazing and we got to meet the mother / daughter cooks that made it. We had all the desserts and a combination of appetizers and entrees. There were varying dietary restrictions but we were able to get something for everyone. Will definitely consider again for other events.
Kabuli Palaw and Shorba at Bonjon Rumi — both really good. Mom’s cooking, you can tell. Fresh bread was a nice touch. Service was professional and attentive. Going back and highly recommend for all.
Loved this place!
Me and my family had dinner in this place during our stay in Washington. Authentic Afghan dishes! Tasted like mom cooked meals. Would go there again if I visit Washington in the future!

Highlights include the brunch options with small items and freshly baked breads, as well as must-try samosa appetizers. The menu includes dishes like mantu, ashak, tarshi, lamb kabob, and desserts such as baklava, Sheerbrenj, and Halwa Sooji with vanilla ice cream. A highly recommended spot for a great meal and experience.
