The food was amazing and inexpensive, the service was the best, extra plate of chicken for free (not guaranteed but has good service). And they are genuinely nice people and like working here.
We both got the chicken katsu bento box and it was delicious! The portions are very generous. We came in the evening and everything was great. We probably wouldn’t recommend the ramen, but the bento boxes are a great deal.

Just had the BEST no pretense miso ramen I’ve had in years. The broth is rich, rustic, and deeply miso-forward. The pork is chunky and tender. The greens are unfussy and perfect. One sip and I was basically transported back to 1980s provincial Japan.
Fast, friendly service and true ramen-shop energy. For $15, I got nostalgia, comfort, and actual joy in a bowl.
