I don’t even know where to begin - my dinner at Opaline was nothing short of breathtaking. Chef Kevin Llali has truly outdone himself, crafting a menu that feels both beautifully thoughtful and wildly indulgent.

The French onion soup set the tone for the evening , hands down the best I’ve ever had. The depth of the broth, the slow, perfect caramelization of the onions… it was comforting, elegant, and honestly beyond anything I could’ve imagined. I’m still thinking about it.

The beet salad was a work of art, both visually and in flavor. Creamy goat cheese (I’m almost certain), tender beets, and a bright citrus lift that tied everything together, refreshing yet decadent at the same time.

Then came the caviar dish, which was exceptional in every sense. Balanced, lush, and presented with such finesse that it felt almost too beautiful to eat.

But the dish that absolutely stopped me in my tracks was the Wellington. I don’t even know where to begin - flawlessly executed, perfectly cooked, wrapped in delicate pastry with layers of flavor that unfolded with every bite. Truly unforgettable. And the legendary 40-layer short rib lasagna? Rich, decadent, and deeply satisfying, just like the ultra-creamy cacio e pepe.

Dessert was another triumph. The crème brûlée was to die for - silky, fragrant, with that perfect glassy top that shatters just right.

Every plate was stunningly presented, every bite memorable. Chef Kevin Llali has created something truly special at Opaline, and it shows in the passion, craft, and artistry of each dish.

If you haven’t been - go. This is a dining experience you won’t forget.

Ps. The cocktails were also exceptional! I unfortunately didn't take photos of every dish because I simply couldn't wait! But I can say, I have been back about 4x already.

We ordered steak frites and this was probably the most mediocre steak I’ve ever eaten. Poorly seasoned and not medium rare. Lukewarm and rare at best. Had them warm up the steak and it was still meh. Cocktails were good but pricey. Fries were amazing and crème brûlée was awesome as well. Overall kind of disappointed .

We made a reservation for a birthday, and I guess I always expect that the service would reflect that. I was at least expecting to hear a “Happy Birthday”, but we didn’t. Also service was kind of slow. The best part of the food was the crème brûlée! The pasta was good, but not blow my socks off. I would say vegetarian options were not that great. Only one pasta available and the rest of veggie options were a small amount of sides/apps.

Pleasantly surprised. Had a good, light, dinner at the bar. The beet salad was excellent. Marlo is a phenomenal bar tender! We also had breakfast here, as we stayed at the hotel. Excellent croissants! We'll be back!

Their bar is not open during brunch, meaning the only cocktails they serve are store bought pour over ice cocktails. Wish they were open for lunch during the week with the full bar. I'd visit much more often.

Small portion but food was great, a bit overpriced but atmosphere and service was good. Overall good experience.

Horrible service, the waiters are all grumpy and careless.
Takes forever to get anything done and the food isn’t that great as well.

I ordered the pan-seared chicken and I cannot tell you how perfect it was - crispy skin, perfectly moist, absolutely delicious. It was obvious the chef took great care preparing it. Truly enjoyed!

Yikes. Maybe it was because we got sat behind a big column, but boy, service was off their game. Maître d' was lovely but took 15-20 mins to get any attention and from there just downhill. Out of several menu items as well. Croque Madame was good tho.

Nice spot for breakfast in the area - returned a few times as the quality and service was consistently great. Was with a group of people each time and all were happy with the experiences during the week/end. Nice atmosphere - felt like we were back in France. Will return when back in the area.

This was for Mother's Day. The booking did not make clear ever that the $95 fixed price menu was a buffet. The menu shown at the time of the reservation made it seem like you could pick items for the fixed price, but it was not clearly stated that the items listed on the menu were in a buffet style. Had I been aware, I would have not booked it because that is a really insane price to pay for food that sits out all afternoon. The service was ok but there really wasn't anything to warrant the 18 percent automatic gratuity added onto the check. We had piles of plates and had to stand up to get staff attention for water and clearing empty plates. The food was not the best or the worst, it was ok. I checked the menus for brunch and saw that they do have a normal brunch menu to so they should really take the time to kale sure it's clear to those looking for dining service that their Mother's Day brunch is a buffet. For 2 people we each had a cocktail and a glass of wine, so in total we spent $369 dollars for a buffet. Absolutely not worth it and will not return.

When we booked our reservation we thought this was more of a fine dining experience, it was much more casual than we anticipated. However, the food was excellent and the service was superb. We had the kindest waitress that made sure everything was as we expected.

My wife and I went to Opaline to celebrate our 24th anniversary (opal, for you traditionalists out there). Everything was perfect. The cocktails were creative and delicious. The charcuterie was well portioned. The salmon and cacio e pepe dishes were outstanding and the desserts were great. The service, led by Martha who was training another lovely human, was kind, attentive and patient. Overall an excellent experience. Cheers!
