Miraud was amazing. I would go back just for the conversation. He made a Manhattan that was exceptional and gave some restaurant recommendations for my hotel area. This place is 5 stars easily
Happy bartender, good beer on tap, cleaner than the neighboring Executive Mansion.

This bar has a great atmosphere and is a fun place to hang out. The old-fashioneds were delicious, although a bit pricey. Overall, the good environment and lively vibe made it an enjoyable experience, and we’d visit again!

Union Trust is a decent American bar a stone's throw away from the White House, offering a good central location. The bar has a lovely, dimly lit interior and a quiet vibe, perfect for a coherent conversation. It features a great selection of tasty beers on tap, reasonable prices, and great Moscow Mules. The service is good, with very nice staff. It is a fantastic place to sit, relax, and escape the heat, with TVs to watch events like Wimbledon. Happy hour is also available, making it a favorite spot for many.
