Wanted to be impressed, however, nothing short of being disappointed. After being seated, the wait time for our waiter to greet us was unacceptable. After sitting 15 minutes, I asked if someone planned to serve us. The food needs improvement. Wanted to order crab, however, they had none. Even the sides weren't tasty. We waited at least 35 minutes for the check and again, I had to ask for it. Won't go back. Lots of other seafood options in the area.

With fun decor and great oysters at good prices, this is a great date destination for dinner. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable even though the restaurant and patio were relatively full. The cocktails were also good!

Even though it was the weekend they gave us the happy hour offerings so we were able to enjoy $1 Oysters. You can never beat a buck a shuck! Everything was great including mussels (light wine lemon, simple, tasty broth), hot steamed shrimp, fried fish bites, and popcorn fried shrimp. Server was also friendly and on top of everythingWill be back soon!

Ophelia's Fish House is a neighborhood gem. I know it's best to include pictures with a review but the food was so good I forgot. Ophelia's is a great spot for date night or meeting up with friends. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile. During my visit, I had the opportunity to meet the owner Tom. He made me feel welcomed and valued my business. Although not pictured, we ordered the fish bites, Snapper, and cajun seafood broil. The food was served piping hot... and the peach lemonade was perfecto. I highly recommend Ophelia's Fish House. I promised Tom I would be back... and next time I will take pictures and update my review.

The bisques are creamy, fresh, and delicious. The oysters are flavorful and large. Wonderfully priced, presented, and tasty food. We will be back soon.

We stopped by Ophelia's Fish house simply looking for some good seafood. The restaurant was quiet and cozy. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. The happy hour is primarily what we ordered and I would recommend you do the same. We also ordered the chowder which was amazing I could drink it with a straw.Parking: It's street parking in dc sometimes you have to circle the block and sometimes you find parking the first go around.

This was a perfect quiet spot to grab some snow crab legs and peel and eat shrimp on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Three snow crab claw clusters to an order. Shrimp was a decent size. Long wooden bar with a half a dozen draft beers. Interesting instrumental cover music was playing which gave off a bit of an Asian vibe. I had a tasty Bloody Mary and tried a very hoppy hazy IPA Joint Resolution by DC Brau which were both perfectly paired with the seafood. Was a bit surprised that the cocktail sauce did not have more horseradish. I would definitely come back.

The servers were amazing! I came during happy hour after my trip and enjoyed the dollar oysters and seafood boil. My own issue was the craw fish were extremely mushy and inedible to eat! When I shared it with the chef, he made it seem like he picked them fresh this morning. Impossible! The meat was gray and falling apart. Crawfish is usually firm and easy to peel. I'm sure the craw fish was bad due to me having food poisoning systems for the past two days and I'm just now feeling well enough to write this review.
