This is your basic tourist attraction food court - although we live nearby and are not tourists. Pizza, fries and a few other things, so kid-friendly food. Pizza is good. We usually stop there. Bring a water bottle to refill at one of the refilling stations because bottles of water are expensive.

They only sell pretzels and ice cream. They were out of hot dog pretzels when we went. The cafe overlooks the panda exhibit but there are not many pandas in the summer since it’s so hot. We saw a panda very briefly and then it went inside.

It's no longer a café, it's now a Carvel and Auntie Anne's combination. There's ice cream, pretzels, and frozen/regular lemonade. Might be a bit pricier than your normal Auntie Anne's but a portion does go to the upkeep of the zoo and the city of DC.
