Hello From Tennessee, just got done watching Undercover insider Gordon Ramsey at your restaurant and talk about turning night into day. My prayers and hopes are that things are still thriving and successful and should I ever come to vist Washington D.C I hope to experience the delicious Greek Foods there. Did not bring sides as requested, sent 1 of 2 beverages (not even what was ordered) and charged for both, did not include any forks or knives. Very curt and standoffish when I called to ask them to correct.

Old and outdated restaurant Venue the food was old and disgusting never again . Please do not eat here. People chef Ramsay made a surprise visit to this restaurant and it failed miserably. I wish I would’ve knew that before I visited.

We did take out and used the restaurant's website. It was very easy. Food was ready as promised and it was just delicious

I’ve forgotten all about this restaurant. It’s been there for decades. Met some friends enjoyed ourselves in the cool restaurant. Nice spot to meet up and catch up.

Decent amount of food that was good. They took my order, delivered it 10 minutes later. That was the last anyone checked in with me. After I was done eating, sat there for 10 minutes and no one came, had to go up to the front to get my check and pay. I have had just as of gyro and better service for 1/2 the price.

Very good food, excellent value for the money, great service. White table cloths but not pretentious at all. I was probably the only one under 60 during weekday lunch. Take heed of their wisdom this is a good spot.

We ate here during a week of house-hunting from out of town. This place is exactly the type of neighborhood restaurant we enjoy: good food, relaxed attitude. We had lamb shish kabob and trout stuffed with spinach and both were perfectly done. We ate on the patio at 8 pm and had no issues with mosquitoes mentioned in another review. The place was full and lively but not too loud and we had no wait. Just felt right in every sense. We ended up buying a house a few blocks away and expect to be regulars here.

I’ve been eating here since the early 90s and I have never once been disappointed. The avogolemono soup is the best I’ve ever had in any American Greek restaurant. The dolmades are perfect, and the moussaka and pastitsio are incredible. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, but classy enough to dress up for during a special occasion. Outdoor seating is pretty decent for individual or a couple. The portions are very generous, and I look forward to the leftovers at home later on.

Lovely atmosphere, and great patio. Good bread! I ordered Mediterranean Chicken - absolutely delicious, and stuffed full to bursting with artichoke hearts and mushrooms. (Came with rice, green beans, and roasted potatoes. So good.)

Mom had Taramosalata; her portion was enormous: She took home more than she ate there.

We arrived at a truly awkward hour, and it didn't faze them one bit. The service was good - friendly, not effusive.

Mom left her wallet and freaked out. Despite being busy when I went back to collect it, they were very kind.

All in all, Parthenon is exactly the sort of neighborhood restaurant we all want in our lives. (I know I'll have to be in DC again soon - I'll look forward to another visit!)
