Went for the 2nd time to renew the experience. I asked a drink with tequila. It tasted everything other than tequila. I told the server it was not what I wanted. She did not offer anything better.
What a treat. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first visit to Union Market in years, we recently heard great things about the Pastis NYC location and figured we might as well try getting a table! We were not disappointed. The staff was super attentive and welcoming and they were able to sit us within 5 minutes. atmosphere of this location is absolutely great and it's very busy lively not too loud while decorated it could be a bit overstimulating for some but for me...
Had such a nice meal at Pastis. It’s buzzy and charming in that classic French bistro way — crowded but in a good, lively kind of way. The food was simple, comforting, and perfectly done, and the service kept everything easy and relaxed. It’s one of those places that just makes you happy to be there.
