We stopped by Peacock Alley for drinks with friends and had such a great time. The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive. Cocktails were spot on and perfectly balanced, and the place itself is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Extremely disappointed lunch experiences. BE AWARE, waiter auto-charge credit cards with their referred gratuity amounts without providing receipt no matter how many people there are. After checking, we talked to manager with our complaint for this issue.
We are totally fine with 20% tips for this kind of place, but not based on these type of services: unwelcoming faces, never remember you need more water, finally auto-swipe/auto-charge the tips as they like without providing the receipt.

This resturant was excellent. So comfortable and spacious. The fall decor was such a nice touch. Our waiter was Ismael and I recommend no one else.
Parking was easy and not over priced.
The gave us these adorable Waldorf Astoria Stuffed Owl Animals and water before we left.
The lobster sandwich was ao tasty.
Curry soup was a tiny bit spicy and the BURGER!! was perfect

Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria offers a beautifully designed space with seasonal décor that still manages to feel festive and elegant. However, the experience doesn’t quite live up to what it was when the property operated as the Trump International Hotel. The energy, service, and attention to detail felt stronger back then.
The food is mediocre overall, like something I’d quickly put together in my own kitchen… though the pizza is worth ordering. Service is okay, but not particularly attentive. One off-putting moment was seeing a waiter and manager visibly counting our group and celebrating (a little too obviously) when they realized the automatic 20% gratuity would be applied for our party of six + … not exactly the professionalism you’d expect in a place like this.
Ultimately, while the setting remains beautiful, the overall experience has slipped.

Get the pastries and teas. Don’t get the main courses. Not worth the price I actually did not even finish my dish because it was worse than my microwave carrots I make at

Jose S. Was our bartender was extremely rude. After we asked for a dirty martini and gave us a drink that wasn’t a dirty martini he came back and got a bottle of olive juice and poured into our cup. I did not drink it because it was not good I told him if he could exchange or do it again. He mocked me and said if I ever had a dirty martini before then went to talk to his coworkers in front of me and started talking crap about me and laughing and staring at me with his co worker. He refused to take it off my tab or make me another drink. To avoid any issue I paid for it. I will never be coming here again. I’ve always had a nice time here with friends and family but never again.

Honestly, I wouldn’t care much about the price at this location but the food quality definitely needs some improvements. Ordered continental breakfast and the selection of pastry was pretty limited and not fresh. The atmosphere is nice but I really hope that they can focus more on quality.

If you want a good atmosphere for your afternoon tea, this is the spot! Prepare for a lot of sugar in your food, though.
The pie crust dishes were a tad dry, but, to be fair, that went quite well wit the tea! I had the Strawberry Green Tea and would recommend trying that one.
I will say you will want to plan to spend about 3 hours here. Best to take the metro and walk over as opposed to doing the local 2hr street parking.
The female bartender working the afternoon of 6/5 was so rude to my friend when we sat down. My friend had reached for what she thought was a menu, and the woman snapped at her, snatched the booklet out of her hand, and glared at her saying “we wouldn’t just leave menus out”. I was completely floored. I have never experienced anything like that before, especially at a Waldorf Astoria. Needless to say we walked out and addressed this with the hostess, who I will say apologized profusely.

Hosted a baby shower for a dear friend today for the cherry blossom tea after hearing friends rave about it. The decor and ambiance was phenomenal; the setting is absolutely beautiful. However, the food selection was disappointing and one of the servers was rude to us after he made the mistake of bringing the wrong drink. Service was slow despite being not busy at all in Peacock Alley. We had a lovely time regardless, but it was no thanks to the staff. Will certainly not recommend the afternoon tea Waldorf DC to others based on our experience.
It is definitely a treat to eat at the Peacock Alley. Your food looks like a piece of art when it is served and so delicious! The staff is so attentive and makes every customer feel special! The Waldorf Astoria is so beautiful and inviting!
The service is wonderful, and ambiance is beautiful, but the food is really mediocre. Flavors are poorly thought through and boring. Know that the price comes from ambiance, not flavor.
Wanted to go in for an afternoon drink and pre-dinner snacks and we were not served through plenty of empty seats were available and we looked like we belonged there (clean clothes, sober, polite to the hostess). It's sad that we had to take our business elsewhere. We hope it was worth it. Will not come back.
Breakfast service on May 8 at 10am was not up to par with ambience. Very spotty and I expected better
Had to ask for service multiple times and it was hard to retrieve check. I will not be back unless I plan to sit at bar
