At the end of our day in DC, we went to the Peacock Cafe, one of our favorites. My wife had the sea bass which she greatly enjoyed. We wanted to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday in Georgetown. Our son had heard of Peacock Cafe and we asked for a quiet table in the restaurant. The staff who greeted us could not have been more accommodating and we had a lovely table in a quiet spot. The food was spectacular, as was the service. The owner & chef (brothers) know what they are doing. Standing the test of time, this is a special place. Both casual and dressy attire fit with the ambiance. Our lunch included chili nachos, seafood jambalaya, steak salad, ahi tuna salad. We loved our meals and would get the same thing again. Friendly/attentive staff and the owner was charming.
