Since the last reviews here, Pizzaiole was closed for the pandemic and reopened recently under new management. The owner is friendly and helpful. The menu expanded from pizza to include subs, salads, and more. The pizza is good, and there were no complaints from my monthly group members who ate it. I've been back several times, and I've been happy enough each time. Note that there's not much room to eat there so plan on carryout.

Pizzaiole is brand new to the Capitol Hill area! The lunch special they have is probably one of the best I've ever got in D.C. the slices are HUGE. The staff also is really nice, the gentleman remembered, my order and name from the first time I ordered there. I was very impressed and will be back for sure!
