I am very picky about my desserts. I've tried a lot more than most people, so I only like the best. I ordered a red velvet cake for my bf's birthday and it is the best red velvet cake we've found locally.The icing was sweet, but not too sweet, and the cake was moist and delicious. I’ve ordered from Timmy several times before (cakes and pies) and the desserts are unbelievably tasty. He doesn’t do anything fancy, so if you are looking for cake-boss levels of decor then this isn’t your place. Timmy’s desserts are simple, but truly the most delicious I have ever had. In contrast, I’ve had very detailed fancy desserts and while they look nice, they have tasted terrible. Like other reviewers have said, the red velvet cake is wicked sick delicious! Needed to find a place that made red velvet cake with buttercream frosting. Couldn't find one local so expanded my search radius and came across bake peace in DC. Ordering was easy and customer service was fabulous. I'm not a fan of deserts, especially cakes, but this red velvet cake was delicious. When i cut it, it looked exactly like whats on the website which is rare.
