This place just reopened with new management. The friendliest people and absolutely the best pizza in Capitol Hill. Highly recommend it!

I ordered the Margarita Pizza. The crust was crispy, thin, but retained a little moisture. The mozzarella was pleasantly fresh and tasty. The tomato sauce was fresh. The basil leaves were a little charred, but still very good. Overall, it was a very good piece of pizza. It reminded me of crispier Wise Guy's margarita slices. I recommend.

Since the last reviews here, Pizzaiole was closed for the pandemic and reopened recently under new management. The owner is friendly and helpful. The menu expanded from pizza to include subs, salads, and more. The pizza is good, and there were no complaints from my monthly group members who ate it. I've been back several times, and I've been happy enough each time. Note that there's not much room to eat there so plan on carryout.

Pizzaiole is brand new to the Capitol Hill area! The lunch special they have is probably one of the best I've ever got in D.C. the slices are HUGE. The staff also is really nice, the gentleman remembered, my order and name from the first time I ordered there. I was very impressed and will be back for sure!
Only OK, I didn't get a taste any red sauce. Seems like something has changed about this place, and now they skimp on things like pepperoni, red sauce, etc.. maybe it's inflation, but I'd rather spend a little more for the same quality I was used to. I've eaten here 2 X's now in the past 4 months and it was consistent, each time the pizza was only ok, and didn't have enough toppings

Really friendly staff & the pizza is very tasty! We had the medium veggie pizza & it come out so quickly--we were shocked! Beautiful thin crust. Can't share a pic of it because we gulped it down too fast ;)

This place serves delicious jumbo slice with outstanding service and reasonable price! Capitol Hill just got a great pizza joint!! They don’t have sandwiches yet but the manager told me sandwiches, pastas, and more coming soon!! My new to go place for pizza for sure.
