Employees had no idea what Japchae was. Came here on my lunch break but couldn’t communicate with the employee about whats on the menu. Kind of embarrassing. But a waste of time for sure

The service was good until a while ago, but these past few weeks I saw the window closed and didn't know if it was open or not, and once I saw the employee sleeping. It's a great place to get ice cream, but they should provide better service.

This was my third visit. First two the food was good. This time the teriyaki chicken seemed boiled and smelled way past its use date. Bowl went straight in the bin unfortunately. First two visits … four stars. This last one. Zero stars.

We wanted to experience this restaurant. However, as opposed to the listed hours, they stated they opened at 10:30 today. Fine, we will wait 20 minutes. I call and ensure the store will be open with the kid inside and he says “yes.” We show up at 10:40 and the door is still closed. We knock and say we just called yet he gave an excuse of being closed for a catering order and couldn’t even help us for another 15-20 minutes. Don’t waste your customers’ time and then give them a nonsensical reason as to why you cannot open when you say you will. Horrendous business model.

Food was surprisingly very high quality for the price.
1. Food was the same size as advertised if not bigger 2. I had the poppa bear and I've never had lettuce be so fresh before. Hands down the highest quality ingredients. 3. My girlfriend had the teppanyaki and the japchae and bulgogi was very authentic in flavor.
Overall, came in expecting an average quality quick meal and was shocked at high quality ingredients with very reasonable prices.

Fun food in a cozy street shop. It's not every day that I find bulgogi and other Korean mainstays at a shop like this one -- and I'm glad to have found it. PoppaBox provides decent food for decent prices, so 4 stars all around. Gourmet? Not so much. You're not getting gourmet for these prices. But a belly full of bulgogi, rice, glass noodles and a potsticker -- you definitely get that. I'll eat here again.
This place was filthy—the floor was sticky with spills, and the tables were dirty. While eating, there were so many fruit flies. The food was okay, but I wondered about its integrity because of the hygiene situation.
