Classic staple of Dupont Circle on 17th Street. Great place to eat, hangout, work, and coffee chat. I personally really enjoy the chocolate chip cookies and Steak & Cheese Sandwich but they're all good.

Prego Again is a great spot for fresh, flavorful Italian sandwiches and pasta dishes. The bread is soft and fresh, the fillings are generous, and everything tastes homemade. It’s casual and friendly — perfect for a quick, satisfying meal or takeout.

Just the loveliest little spot, and my default work-outside-my-apartment location. The prepared food and drinks are great, the mini-grocery selection of wine, snacks, and cold drinks is solid (don't sleep on the slices of cake), and the staff and atmosphere are relaxed and friendly, with great indoor and outdoor space.
(I very rarely leave reviews, but this place is such a gem in the neighborhood that I had to register my strong endorsement!)

Prego Again is one of my favorite cafés in DC. It’s right in Dupont Circle and has such a warm, inviting ambiance. The kimchi burrito is absolutely incredible — technically big enough to share, but I always keep it to myself. It’s consistently made to perfection every time.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s plenty of space to work, read, or catch up with friends.
Highly recommend this spot. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

We didn’t try the food here but the coffee was wonderful! The people who served us were friendly and helpful. The inside (where we sat until outside chairs became available) was clean and cool temperature wise. The outside was shaded, comfortable and clean.
I really liked their kimchi burrito the first time I went. However, the second time I took my friend and we both ordered the kimchi burrito. We took it to go and when we went to eat, we saw that they gave us the wrong order (2 breakfast sandwiches).
I contacted Prego Again via their form on their website asking for a refund or at least partial because it's a decent difference in pricing (burrito vs sandwich). They never responded hence the 1⭐️. I'm disappointed in their customer service.

Damn good sandwich joint in North east DC. Will be back, God willing. Expensive but worth it. Turkey avocado club no bacon extra turkey. And tuna Sammich bangs! Chip selection plenty! Tremendous taste.

Prego Again is such a charming neighborhood gem. It feels cozy and welcoming with friendly staff- the kind of place you’re glad to have nearby. The food really hits the spot, especially the pastrami sandwiches (seriously delicious) and their soups. You can tell it’s made with care.
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the venting system since the food aromas can be a little strong inside.Still definitely a go-to spot in the neighborhood.
