Superb soup dumplings and ramen. The pork and shrimp, and Mala were perfect. The soup was hot but not scalding and the dumplings filling was perfect texture. Super easy to eat. The ramen (duck and Reren) were phenomenal. Broth was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. The bok choy was tender but still crunchy. Service was friendly and attentive.

A truly lovely bistro! This place’s flavors beat out over 70% of the Chinese restaurants and noodle joints in the DMV area. The dishes are super homestyle and comforting.
Not sure why this place only has a 4-star rating—so many restaurants with 4.3 or 4.5 stars taste awful!

Reren Lamen & Bar in Georgetown is an absolute gem! The renovation they did looks fancy—the ambiance is artistic , inviting, and has a great vibe that makes dining here even more enjoyable.
The food is top-notch! Their soup dumplings are perfection—delicate, flavorful, and bursting with delicious broth. The street-style fried calamari is crispy and well-seasoned, making it a must-order. I also loved the grandma-style beef pancakes, which were packed with rich flavors and had the perfect texture. The jumbo shrimp and pork suimai were fresh, juicy, and simply amazing.
Everything I tried was well-executed, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re looking for a great spot in Georgetown for high-quality food with cheaper price and a fantastic atmosphere, Reren Lamen & Bar is the place to go. Highly recommend!

If you’re in the Georgetown/Foggy Bottom area, this is your go-to reliable, high quality ramen shop. Had the Kung Fu (spicy beef shank). The buns are delicious and messy with yummy sauce. Vibes are great, full service bar.
Broth was really flavorful. Noodles were bouncy and had a great mouth feel. Wasn’t blown away by anything in particular and it seemed like it was just a little overpriced because it’s in Georgetown. The boba shop downstairs will put alcohol in your boba tea! Still worth a try if you’re in the area.

As a Ramen enthusiast, I found the Signature Lamen excellent! Pork and boiled egg cooked to perfection and tasting amazing. Hong Kong Roast Duck Lamen was good as well. Restaurant has a good laidback vibe. Get a bay by the window, order your noodles, and see Georgetown winter life unfold in front of you!

Came back for the Hong Kong Roast Duck Laken! The duck skin is so crispy. The best ramen I had in dc so far. Brought friends back here for this ramen. Everyone loves it. Definitely a Must try here.

Amazing family lunch meal here. We had beef noodles, which were hearty and flavorful. The shrimp chive pancakes were amazing and the grandma beef pancake was delicious too. All homemade.

This place is unbelievably delicious and ridiculously affordable! With an average cost of $20-25 per person, the portions are enormous. We were a group of three (2 women, 1 man), and we still had leftovers!

Very nice ramen restaurant in Georgetown, menu offered a variety of ramen options, I opted for the duck ramen, which is pretty rare to find in other places. The broth was rich, packed with umami, while noodles were cooked just the right balance of firm and chewy. Toppings are delicious and the amount is large too. Will definitely go back again!

The soup is good, the noodles are good, and the service is good. The braised beef noodles are a bit spicy. I prefer the braised version. In addition, the xiaolongbao is also good.

Too delicious!
Reren Lamen Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience.
The food is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Their signature lamen bowls are rich and satisfying, with broth that’s packed with depth and noodles cooked to perfection. The pork belly melts in your mouth, and the toppings add just the right amount of texture and flavor.
I also tried their dumplings and handmade noodles, and they were equally amazing. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Asian cuisine, Reren Lamen Bar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

I recently visited this restaurant with my husband and was excited to try their upgraded menu, which now includes Chinese noodles and soup dumplings. We ordered the black truffle dish, which was incredibly tasty and a rare find in DC. What impressed us was that the dumplings were handmade, not machine-made, with a thin wrap that still managed to retain the tenderness of the filling.
We also tried the popcorn chicken, which smelled amazing and lived up to its aroma. The chicken was hot, juicy, and came in a generous portion. Additionally, we ordered the Kongfu beef noodle and Hong-Kong duck noodle. The Hong-Kong duck noodle was a standout, with the roast duck and soup expertly prepared. It's a classic Chinese dish that they executed very well.
However, I was disappointed with the Kongfu beef noodle. The addition of sprouts gave it a Japanese ramen flavor profile, which didn't quite fit with the traditional Chinese noodle dish I was expecting. Furthermore, the soup was not hot enough, which took away from the overall experience.
Overall, I'm glad to see this restaurant expanding its menu to include more Chinese options, and I appreciate the attention to detail in their handmade dumplings. With a bit of improvement on their noodle dishes, particularly the Kongfu beef noodle, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in DC.

Great food! The dumplings especially were delicious and I know it isn't just because I was hungry because when we took them home and heated them up they were still 🤌.
Maybe recommend the ramen less but it was still pretty good.

It's a different kind of restaurant in Gtown. Cute little restaurant on a 2nd floor, 1st floor is a bubble tea place. Party of 5, greeted by friendly staff, they were very attentive during our dinner, refilling water, taking away finished plates, and ordering was very easy.
Fresh ingredients and delicious food. Highly recommend the salt & pepper chicken, very juicy and tender. Can't go wrong with the soup dumpling, steamed to perfection; Shrimp hargow is way bigger than normal dim sum places.
Let's talk about price: priced at a very reasonable price point, given the prime location and cost of rent, their pricing is way better than a lot of restaurants.
Overall, will definitely go again. 😋
