We ate here in June, the weekend before they had their fire. Such a cute, romantic spot, and the service was perfect! We can't wait for them to reopen!! The appetizers we had, grilled polenta topped with mushrooms in a gorgonzola sauce, grilled shrimp in a spicy sauce and the fried calamari, were absolutely fantastic. I had an incredible dining experience at Ristorante Piccolo in DC, and I must say, the manager truly made it exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. Probably the beat Marsala in D.C. I've had so far. Their food is very good. This is the second time I've come here and I'm so happy I did. My only regret is not ordering the scallops again this time around because last time I came those were sooooo good. The service is good but this time around we it took us longer to get seated even though we had a reservation. The manager was outside on the phone so we waited for him.
