We let the chef cook for us. We didn't need to make any hard decisions and had the most wonderful meal. Not sure if the red pepper carpacio or the de-constructed duck lasagne was my favorite. We had a great bottle of wine and great conversation.
Always a favorite place. They work really well with allergies and have a lot of food options. They are definitely the best deal of restaurant week. They always have impeccable food and service with or without restaurant week
We had the restaurant week menu: Prosciutto (best my wife has ever tasted), Capesante (diver scallops with delicious sauce), Agnolotti, Veal in Marsala sauce, Tiramisu, and cheesecake. There were many other options for appetizer and pasta/main course--unlike most restaurants in DC restaurant week, which have a set menu with perhaps 2 or at most 3 options for each course. Everything was outstanding. Note that the veal was tenderloin, a thick juicy cut that is not available in supermarkets....
