There is clearly a level of pride here at being a Michelin-starred restaurant - the term Michelin appears in several places around the dining room and on servers' uniforms. Finally, a restaurant that lives up to it's accolades! I loved the welcoming atmosphere and warm demeanour of all servers.
To start I was offered the pineapple bun and butter which were definitely one of the top bread-butter servings I've ever tasted.
Now with regards to the 4 course prix fix meal I got the - Hamachi Tartare, Shrimp Toast, Short Rib Diane and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The tartare was quite peculiar and I only picked it because of the reviews....

We went to celebrate a birthday and were excited to try this place but left with mixed feelings. Starting with the good, service was exceptional - attentive but not overbearing staff, succinct explanation of the meal, quick and friendly service.
