Great food as always! Gazpacho was delicious and refreshing, duck was beautifully crispy with savory and sweet accompaniments, and the petite filet was perfectly cooked. Warm onion tart is a delightful appetizer with surprising combinations. The menu has changed from a month or two ago, but I can always count on a delicious meal made with attention to detail, reasonably priced cocktails (for DC), and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely try this place if you haven't.

Rosemary's owner Frédéric is a joy to interact with, as are all his staff. We enjoyed octopus, sweetbreads, veal cheeks, and the famous Floating Island dessert. We dine at rosemary regularly, and have a wonderful experience every time. Highly recommended!

We all had different meals. French Onion Soup was delicious - rich broth, great melted cheese. Warm onion tart also a winner. Grilled Bronzino excellent.

The kitchen can cook. However, the service front of the house is clueless. Dishes sit for five minutes or more with waitstaff walking by oblivious. You pour your water here. No a/c does not help on a hot Washington D C summer day.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Rosemary Bistro. It had been a while since we'd Ben there. I had this delicious fried Brussels sprouts dish. Fantastic, creative and yummy. My husband had a fish and pasta dish that he loved. We'll go again. Service was excellent.

Great food, great service, nice outside tables for quiet talks and atmosphere. A great neighborhood restaurant for the whole city!

Rosemary is an authentic DC neighborhood French gem. Classic Bistro as it should be, at its best. If you are after glitz and glam and faux french, go elsewhere. For the real quality thing, crafted by an owner who cares deeply about his food, his customers, and his community, Rosemary is the place!

Excellent food with generous proportion size (e.g. the half order of mussels and fries and the duck confit on frisée salad). We sat outside, which was pleasant and quiet. Our waiter was extremely nice and efficient, giving us good advice on food and on wine.

Fred and his staff make the dining experience all the more enjoyable. From the appetizers, to our main courses, desserts and a truly wonderful bottle of wine for the table, we, once again really enjoy this gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood.

We totally love Rosemary -- a true neighborhood gem! We were a group of eight, and all enjoyed the meal tremendously. I had the frisee salad (with a confit duck leg!) followed by the sweetbreads, and the floating island for dessert. Great time, great traditional French cuisine with a modern twist, and very attentive service!

Excellent imaginative dishes, very good service—superb sweet breads and pheasant. Mmmmmm... The ambiance is slightly lacking—-long narrow room, no tablecloths, but that is the only drawback. Can't wait to go back!

Went for Saturday lunch/brunch - party of 3. Ordered coffee and 3 entrees. Total >$100 with tip.

Our server was very disenchanted as if this service was an imposition on his otherwise busy day. Not what you would have hoped if the tipping rate on the handheld (no more paper bills!) starts at 18%.

But more importantly, the food was sub-par. Ordered the chicken pita (comes with house salad), which is listed at a menu price of $24 for weekends. Two small sections of basic supermarket pita with some chicken and tasteless pickled red cabbage were served with salad with barely any dressing. My companions’ portions were similarly scant. The avocado toast was a bit better ($20) but suffered the same underwhelming salad. Poached eggs ($24) are served with generous amount of hollandaise but are really one muffin sliced with a small amount of egg on each. Evaluate for yourself if this is value for $24.

Rosemary Bistro used to be a respected brunch option in NW, but it seems to have fallen on hard times. The place was less than half full. Staff are checked out and the kitchen seems unmotivated. Best avoided at this price point.
