I’m very disappointed and sad that I applied for a visa here. I explained to them I have a competition to represent my country and if they could give me an emergency visa that I may be able to travel on Dec 3rd to Thailand. We have been preparing an entire year for this competition we got the invitation letters very late but it’s more than 10 days since I applied. I finally got through to someone and the the response I got wasn’t kind, the lady told me “I cannot go”. It was very heart broken and I wonder if they have any soul or any children that they would like to see achieve their goals. I am still trying and hoping they will approve and send the visa before my travel date. It’s just an Evisa and doesn’t take that long, the embassy of Canada in Ottawa was gonna issue me one but they saw I had one application with Washington DC and asked me to reach back out to them.I really hope someone see this that can help me and this is my only opportunity to represent my country and to see it being taken away from me is very sad.

My name is Antwan Dominique Rowley. Born in Tampa Florida. Currently 30years of age. I am African American/Thai but I identify myself as black. I have a GED, a degree in pharmacy technician, and an associates-health science.i have been fasly diagnosed with schizophrenia, and I am having symptoms of hearing voices. After studying Buddhism I learned about meditation. After hours and days of mediation and listening to my mind I have came to the conclusion that the American government is using mind control technology to use telepathy to harass and manipulate the black men. This has affected my mother who is Thai and the rest of my family. The government is trying to brainwash me and silently extort blacks, and innocent US civilians with strong independent minds. This is a national emergency. Thailand if you are seeing this message please pray for me and our families. For the government and Tampa police department has made me feel in danger for my life and my families. The voices constantly tell me that this is a white man's country and has told me that they wanted the world to know.

After all the great things we have heard about Thailand, we decided to spend part of our honeymoon there. My wife had applied for a tourist visa on July 20, 18 days before our flight. They claim that the E-Visa process takes up to 15 days. We have been trying to reach out to see if we will get the Visa on time, but they don't answer the phone. Luckily Today a lady answered and she was extremely Rude she was yelling at me and wouldn't let me talk. This lady doesn't represent the people of Thailand. We went through hell because of this E-visa that shouldn't take more than 24-48 hours.

Do not apply for E-visa here. They never pick up the phone and for emails it takes 24 hours to get an email back with a copy and paste , their visa takes over 20 days while most countries E-Visa takes less than 48 hours, it's a nightmare.

About paperwork where this place made simple and easy transactions than New York Embassy branch: the same paperwork but different! The point is all the staff here friendly and professional you can rely on them. If you have struggled with an appointment at the NYC branch (0.5 stars for the NY branch I would do it able to) this is the place you can come and make it happen.

My experience with the Thai embassy was exceptional. Ms. Hernandez is superb at her job and made it possible for me to make my flight to Thailand. She was so patient, accommodating, and professional. I was on a time crunch, and Ms. Hernandez worked well past her 5pm closing time to ensure I received my E-visa in order to make my flight scheduled for the next morning. One of the operators, Nancy, stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes to explain the E-Visa application procedure and calm me down as I suffered a panic attack fearing I would miss my flight. Those two amazing women are the reason I am up at 3am writing a review. I sincerely hope both ladies understand how much I appreciate their help and how humbled I am to have the opportunity to visit Thailand. Thank you both so much, and keep up the fantastic work :)

All of the consular officers at 2300 Kalorama Rd. are very helpful. They work very hard only take 30 minutes break for lunch and they came to do their work without hesitation. I went there at lunch time and they welcomed me with positive words and gestures.

They're extremely slow with visa processing. Mean staff who take a two hour break everyday (who has a two hour break in this day and age??)

They had changed the new rules about renewal Thai passport. My passport can't be renew because I didn't have the Thai color Id. They said I have to fly to Thailand and get the new Thai id which in color. OMG. Who the hell have time for that. So I became US citizen. No more drama renewal Thai passport in this lifetime.US Passport so easy and you can do at the US post office. So long Thai Embassy.

I can honestly say the Thai people working at the Consulate in Washington DC are the rudest Thais I have come across in almost a decade of traveling and living in Thailand. Thailand is known as the land of smiles and full of wonderful people. Washington DC must be where they send all the unhappy Thais to work.
