Definitely a hidden gem in the city for solid Japanese cuisine. Been there for decades and service, food, atmosphere is consistently good. Love the staff there, it is truly a neighborhood establishment where locals like going. Everything is delicious every time and doesn’t break the bank!

Sushi is much better at u sushi. Sakura always forgets to add my sauces for my door dash orders and I pay extra for sauces so won’t do it again.

Some menu's are hit or miss, service is kinda slow and you have to ask for stuff, but the atmosphere is good and the price is very, very affordable for

Arrived at 6pm. Service was mute and not very welcoming. Ordered appetizers and udon. Food mediocre and service impersonal. Compared with similar Japanese establishments this was a poor experience and will not be returning. Required seven spice application for any flavor for udon. Sushi bland for the price.Do not plan on going back; seems to mainly cater to take-out and does not provide good seating service. Cold an impersonal, do not recommend.Vegetarian options: None

Got delivery. Miso soup was fantastic, house salad had tomatoes, greens and radishes with a GREAT ginger dressing, and tempura was perfectly fried. Food was ready within 8 minutes of my ordering.

This place is odd. They claim to be open at 11:30 AM for lunch, which they are, but not for dine in. Instead you have to stand outside and either creepily look in the place until someone notices you or you need to call letting them know you're there. You can't even get to the front door as the gate is locked. The sushi is also meh. The rolls are cheap because they're tiny and basic. I spent around $25 and thought it was a waste. One and done for me.

Nice little hole in the wall sushi restaurant. Decent price for decent sushi. I had the miso soup and sushi/sashimi combo. The sushi was above average and at a good price. Decent place if you're looking for reasonably priced sushi. Good staff and fast service.

The fried oyster roll was excellent with a perfect crunch. I can order that alone and will be perfectly content The eel roll was warm and the spicy tuna very good as well. Will order again.

I have been to this place 3 times (I usually visit this many times before providing a poor review) I like to give them a shot to improve. Unfortunately, all three times the food hasn't been very good. The noodles are cooked properly, however the protein wasn't. The chicken tasted like it had sat out all day, dry and overcooked, slathered with sauce to mask the texture. The shrimp was very overcooked and rubbery. The flavors were correct for Japanese food, however the proteins in all the dishes we tried weren't cooked properly. The customer service is great, so that is nice.If you want authentic Japanese food, this isn't the place to go.

Has the potential to be a great mom and pop sushi spot, but the servers are in a hurry to get you to leave the door. Will not be back.

This is an awesome restaurant. But they don’t pick up the phone, are often offline on delivery apps, and when you order directly from their restaurant they don’t confirm the order. It’s a bummer because otherwise they’re great- just highly
