BE AWARE - This is no longer an Italian place. It’s now a Mexican restaurant. Same name, and at this time, none of the google menu or food photos reflect the change.Pretty good Mexican food. The complimentary chips and salsa were tasty. The house margarita was very tart and strong, which I liked.The fajitas were really good, too. We got steak and veggies and the veggies were really good. Ate at the bar. The place was cozy and friendly and the bartender knew how to make his cocktails - tasty DC Negroni using a local gin and stateside bitter amaro. Caccio de Pepe was a bit moist but very decadent.

There is finally a spot with good tacos in DC!Music is cool upbeat EDM and the atmosphere is clean and modern.The prices are reasonable at $15-$25 for a good sized meal.I'm looking forward to coming back with friends to try their 4:30-7:30 happy hour.
