As someone that grew up in Tokyo, this place serves great quality sushi that’s very authentic! This will be my go to spot from now. I really appreciate that they serve traditional rolls like the Ume and kanpyo which are seen at every sushi place in Japan, but rarely found in America. The price point is also unbeatable! The portions are not huge, but they don’t need to be when the quality is this good. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Amazing and cozy hole-in-the-wall sushi place in DC. Sad to see people on Yelp bash this small business while expecting luxurious dining like Nobu. Prices and sushi quality are both excellent. Waiters and the owners are super friendly.
Adequate sushi. Was a little underwhelmed here, the eel maki was good, everything else was fine but not particularly remarkable? Ordered the fried oyster roll, spider roll, shrimp (tempura?) roll, yellowtail nigiri, tuna nigiri.. Not bad at all, just not particularly stand out. On the affordable side for the DC area.
