This particular location at L'Enfant center was very good. The service was excellent as this sweet mom and pop took our order and prepared our food. My husband, son and I ate at Sandella's prior to visiting the International Spy Museum. There is mall food court seating. We were very pleased with the quality and portion size of our meals. We ordered a Superior Turkey Panini, Chicken and broccoli panini and cheese pizza. If we visit DC again, Sandella's will make the list of places to visit!
We got this for a lunch at my company and the box with the "vegan" sandwich came with a cookie and chips that had milk in them which is disappointing for those with allergies. Also for the price (about $20 a box) you would think there would be good vegan protein options like tofu and tempeh but the only options are hummus/chickpea based which has some protein but is pretty low.
