We were back in our hotel in DC and checked if there was a restaurant open around. Surprisingly most restaurant were closed or about to close. We found that Panda Express was still open for another hour (most restaurant close at 6pm in DC, crazy!) So we headed there and found nice staff, great food and just the kind of place you want to eat something hot before heading to bed. Definitely recommended. The staff are so nice and so helpful. A really nice experience to repeat.
Good place to get some reasonably priced asian food within minutes of walking in. Order your food at the counter and take it with. There is plenty of seating at the plaza and it’s a great place to people watch and just take it all in. The food here is fast, but the quality is good and the cost is reasonable - about 10$ for a 2 entree plate, which is a fairly hefty meal. When I go into the office in DC, this is the closest quick bite to eat that I can get. You get what they call a plate with 2 proteins and a side for just over $10 before tax. Service is always fast and friendly. Really hard to beat if you are near the plaza.
