Sequoia DC offers a beautiful waterfront setting with a patio overlooking the Georgetown waterfront. The food is delicious and unique, with highlights like horseradish mashed potatoes. Service is attentive and excellent. The venue alone already counts a lot, the food was great, with a swirl margarita that was really good, and two dishes to share with good portions for two people. The guacamole with chips is also really tasty, and the beautiful view from the Potomac is perfect. Sequoia is a great place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions, with a buffet style or entree options from the menu. The culinary experience and food choices are truly enjoyable, with a waffle bar, chocolate fountain, and an abundance of delicious desserts to appeal to any appetite. The atmosphere and water view are absolutely amazing, although parking could be a challenge. Guests are advised to arrive on time if making reservations, as the restaurant is accommodating but may not seat parties until all guests are present. Overall, Sequoia is a recommended destination for visitors to the Georgetown, DC area.
