It’s a great place for a group of friends !
The food is fabulous, the service perfect, and the view is amazing!
Server was not very attentive - approached us after the meal upset that we did not tip her more. She only checked on us twice and laughed in our face and walked away when we tried justifying our tip amount. Just a table of three, one entree each and no extra orders. It’s not appropriate to approach your guests in this manner, and we were very offended by her attitude and demeanor.

Tony and Joe's Seafood Place offers a delightful seafood dining experience with quick seating and a variety of tasty options. The restaurant is well-known for its filling Crab cake entree and an impressive cocktail and wine menu. Many customers praise the outstanding service and delicious appetizers, especially the oysters and calamari. The filet mignon remains a highlight, while the crab cake sandwich is favored by many guests. Some have enjoyed dining outside, although they noted it became dark and difficult to see the food without proper lighting. The sunset views enhance the charm of the place, making it a popular spot for celebrating special occasions. Conveniently located for a dinner before a Kennedy Center show, diners can enjoy an easy walk along the river, with great seats offering a scenic view and soft ambient lighting. However, some reviews mention issues with service during busy times, and disappointment with the quality of snow crab legs, which were lukewarm and not worth the price. The smoked fish board and mussels have received mixed feedback as well. The Pesto Rigatoni and Roasted Cod topped with Crabmeat are also notable dishes, with sizable portions that often lead to leftovers. Additionally, the restaurant does not provide crab picks, which can make enjoying crab claws more challenging. An adjacent boat dock sometimes plays loud music that can detract from the experience, although this does not affect all visits. Despite these minor issues, many guests still find it a lovely place for a fun dinner with good wine, such as cab Sauv, and have described their visits as memorable and enjoyable.
